He scored 9 goals last season, not bad if he only played 5 matches.
I always thought he was decent at 'Boro, probably not premiership standard but I think he could do a good job for us.

Apologies - scored 9 goals for Sedan against 2 x valencienne, Troyes, Auxerre, Le Mans, St Ettienne, Sochaux, 2 x Sedan and played in all but 1 game. Question is, why leave french Ligue 1 club (just relegated) to come to an English club also in the second tier?

Also, another weird thing - 7 goals scored away from home, and 6 of his total goals in the first half. Sounds like a half player.

Job's contract with Middlesbrough expired after his most recent loan spell with Al-Ittihad. Job spent part of the 2006/2007 pre-season training with FA Premiership side Watford but was not offered a contract.

So Watford didn't want him after a trial...

Still think he would be a good signing for us and would link up with Hume excellently (I hope)
