literally just!!

Like you say, never EVER again.
Same for me I think!! Whose bloody bright idea was it to come back down the A5 most of the way. Couldnt any bloody sleep as he kept having to stop for red lights and roundabouts. We could have chipped 50p in each and took the bloody toll road and got some sleep.

On coaches you are in somebody elses hands. We went M1 A50 to stoke, M6 and then through all those short going nowhere fecking motorways around Manchester, getting to M61 and onto sunny Bolton.

We parked at the ground and had no probs getting out whatso ever, good value for £6. Was in home for just before 12:45am.

There were warnings about it being difficult to get away from the stadium car-park on this board. Whyever did you park in there?

There was plenty of parking at half of that (and less - and some free) within a five or ten minute walk from the ground. Easy to get away afterwards as well!
Mr H had to go to Helsinki this week, and the only way he could get to the game and his meeting was to fly from and to Manchester, so by the time he got to Bolton, he didn't have time to find free parking, and ended up on the official one. Believe me, I questioned him about it when I found out!

Pay the £6 and have piece of mind.

Or park in a more sensible place, have £3 change and PEACE of mind!

I parked over the road from the ground on that business site in The Royal Bank of Scotlands car park and it was free:icon_bigg
Bit of a pain getting out though:frown:

Yes there were quite a few City fans in the bottom section as I was there myself. Not bad for a tenner.

The first half the team looked like they had just met before the game.

BUT 2nd half it could have gone either way and we played much better.

Couldn't understand why Tiatto came off and Hamill stayed on.Hamill looked like a lost boy most of the game particularly when he played on the right. He needs too much time on the ball (not able to at this level)

Joey was man mountain in the game pity that shot from the free kick just went over.

Stearman will learn from his mistakes as otherwise he had a good game. For the first I think he blamed himself as it was the far post that the free header came from. The 2nd one either he or McCarthy should have wacked it clear.

Still overall not too bad BUT the one up front not work too well as the ball just kept getting gobbled up by their defenders most of the time.

Hume in for next game so revert to 4-4-2

And after the first 10 mins nor did they !! we were very unlucky to loose this match, we dominated most of the game and had NO luck at all, fingertips away from penalties and Boltons tactics following our (superb) goal were a disgrace !!!

agree 100%

although i don't know why i was surprised cos every time we've been up there bolton have been the same...diving, time-wasting,cheating gits....

As for the car park, what a joke. Which muppet decided using the road part to block people in was a clever idea? Still at £6 a car, I think I might know why they did it....

and £20 for the coaches!!

greedy barstewards!!

it's about time we started parking the away coaches beihnd the East Stand and charging them for the privilege.

were you on our coach??

can remember someone saying they were going up on the hinckley one...

as for the way we came home....wouldn't bloody know cos i slept most of it!! lol

ps: our usual driver does take the Toll Road and the SC pays it,the one we had last night was a Treehugger and his laugh pissed me off after about 15 minutes...

i thought we looked quite positive considering the lack of options we had for our team. dublin only did one thing in the entire 120 and it almost put the game to penalties. both goals were sloppy but premiership teams should be able to punish lapses in concentration

Well he does think more of the car than he does of me....
Sorry leeh what was the point to that post? I cant quite see what you are trying to say there.:102:

Thought it was a hard working performance, had we had a few more attacking options available then I think we could well have nicked a result, but the players gave there all and the travelling support certainly left the ground knowing that the team had done them proud, the really positive aspect for me was that we had made several changes and fielded a supposed weakened team, I think last night proved that we do have a strong squad capable of a lot better than our current league position suggests.

From my seat it looked as though we did score - it also looked as though we were going to score another until Jussi Jaaskelainen pulled off an amazing save to deny Dion.

While we never did look like winning, no team in the Premiership should have to hang on against lower league opposition like Bolton had to last night - for that we should congratulate the players and take some satisfaction.
to be fair though boc mate it wasn't there full strength side, but we still did well against there weaker side

Nor was it our full-strength side.. Perhaps I should have said that that no Premiership side, even if it is understrength, should have to hang on against understrength lower-league opposition. I'm glad to see though that you agree that we did well.

Look what Newcastle did to Wigans understrength team!!:icon_lol:
Talking of which, did you see the misses by a certain Mr Connolly.
