Kaebi for Iran

The offial site mentions that Kaebi played a part in Iran's 2-2 draw with China, but confirms that he only played 45 miutes. What they don't say is that CHina went 2 goals up during the first half, and Iran scored both their goals in the second.

From the Asian Cup site, at half time.....

"Iran assistant coach Nasser Ebrahimi, who took charge with Amir Ghalenoei suspended, made two changes at the break, bringing on Eman Mobali and Javad Kazemian, for the disappointing Ali Karimi and Hossein Kaebi."

Incidentally, Karimi and Kaebi are probably Iran's most creative and flareful players - they're obviously prone to inconsistancy in their game. Also, it's been a long season in Germany and Iran (?) - they could both be suffering from a little fatigue.

well iran scored 1 goal in the end of the first, so that is not true, and kaebi did not make many mistakes but he wasnt in sync with the rest of the players. He did have one great play where he showed his rediculous speed...he was 1 on 1 with the chinese defender near the box, knocked it to the defenders left and ran to his right, and the defender fell down trying to catch up (he didnt come close)

Iran were 2-0 down, although the above doesn't state if the 45 goal was 1st of 2nd half.

I'm sure i heard that it was more or less the last kick of the first half.

Usually when recording minutes they say during which minute of the match something occurred, not after how many minutes.
Therefore 45 would mean the 45th minute, and would be before half time.

If it's 45, it is the first half. If you score in the first minute in the second half, it should be minute 46.
