I think lennon with make a good manager he is alot like Roy Keane, he doesnt take shittt from no one and always give it back, he isn't scared to raise his voice and be heard, he is a player that can knock sense into alot of people, espeically footballing wise.

Apart from Shearer.

Yes but apart from all of that nonsense, why do you think he would be a good manager?
Or is it purely based on liking him as a player?

So Steve Guppy as manager it is, then........

Maybe.

It's almost getting to the point on this forum that one cannot post any opinion with 100 devil's advocates waiting in the wings.

My answer was specific to the question. I am not saying by that, that that's all you'd need to be a good manager.

Lennon would be a good manager because he brings alot of playing experience and he has been managed by two great manager gordon and MON, playing wise he has a good knowlegde of the game and he has the temper to be a manager, i think a manager who isn't scared to lose it with his players when they play shitt and let them know who is needed and isn't needed is a good point for managing a club, technical side might let me down but if he has good supporting staff then we never know, he reminds me alot of Roy Keane when he plays so who knows, maybe one day

The exact same could be said about thousands of players, but most of them end up running pubs & playing golf for the rest of their natural.
Playing & managing are entirely different, a shite player could be a great manager.
There's also the possibility that Muzzy, Lennie & all of everybody elses favourite ex-City players have no interest in becoming a manager

:038: :038: :038: I don't want to see us start losing, glad he didn't win :icon_wink

Spot on Alex, you can't have an opinion anymore.
