I am glad somebody else has said this. I too think PT is a good coach, it just didn't work out with us. I have said it before on here and I have seen murderers get a warmer response than I got for saying italex said:He'll do well there I reckon, sorry to dampen people's enthusiasm, but he's a good coach and will flourish at Palace IMO.

OldGit said:I largely agree. His coaching credentials are proven from his under-21 job and with lower league teams.
His problem with us was as an unconstrained manager. The then board must take much of the blame - after the MON revolution, where he refused any form of oversight other than direct discussion with the chairman, they apparently failed to realise that something like their original plan was required for any new manager. He was clearly not put under anything like enough scrutiny over his decisions on player signings or contracts.
I doubt Jordan would allow him anything like that freedom, but the one question mark that remains is his ability to deal with dressing room issues
Don't get me wong A-Z I hate the kunt with the passion that you do, and I whole heartedly agree with what you say. I just don't think he's as bad a manager and we believe him to be.PFKAKTF FOX said:Regardless of his abilities, he is still the guy who shoulders alongside the board of directors of that time, responsibilty for destroying the most successful side in our history, blowing the biggest transfer budget ever sanctioned to a City manager, despite his early sacking he still played a major role in our relegation and the obvious financial ruin that the club suffered subsequently.
How do you honestly expect Leicester fans to view Taylor without a jaundiced attitude. I could not give a fcuk about his abilities or his achievements since leaving our club, I will not nor neither can I forgive nor forget his disastrous reign at Filbo.

Sometimes, relationships just don't work and they go horribly wrong. This is what happened, as you say, it was a combination of both parties.

The man's a complete and utter wanker as far as I'm concerned, but it doesn't mean he can't learn from his shambolic disaster in the near ruination of our club and go on to do better things
Palace is not the place, though. That egomaniac fukker will have sacked him by January
