New signing DJ Campbell makes his first start in a Leicester City shirt at Rugby Park on Saturday afternoon.

The £2.1million striker has been named in Martin Allen's starting line up to face Kilmarnock in City's sixth pre-season friendly of the summer.

Campbell will start the game in attack alongside Iain Hume - who was City's top scorer last season.

Recent captures Jimmy Nielsen, James Chambers, Stephen Clemence, Shaun Newton and Radostin Kishishev are also included in the starting XI.

Former Fox Momo Sylla is named in the Kilmarnock starting line up.

A report from the match will be available here on lcfc.com at full time.

City: Nielsen, Stearman, Chambers, N'Gotty, McAuley, Clemence, Newton, Kishishev, Hume, Campbell, Mattock.
Subs: Fryatt, Henderson, Wesolowski, de Vries, Odhiambo, Hellings, Sheehan.

Killie: Combe, Fowler, Hay, Lilley, Wright, Ford, Sylla, Johnston, Nish, Wales, Gibson.
Subs: Murray, Harqur, Fernandez, O'Leary, Koudou, Hamill, Bryson.

looks like DJ will play dont know if Kabbi and Kis are back (noticed that Lucas Neill is back as he was interviewed on Sky.
I think Kaebbi needs some action

What is the betting Sod invokes his Law this afternoon and Momo Sylla does one of his legendary but rare mazy runs down the right wing cuts in past two defenders and scores!

Looks like a pretty strong side. certainly stronger than the side that finished last season
although we are pretty small up front. so no lugging it into the channels..
will be interesting to see if he tries different formations
although it looks like he's played 4-4-2 in all of the games so far.

can we get any coverage anywhere?

Kaebi back on tuesday should play against pompey

Kis given extra week off.

Does anybody know what the feck is happening?
Is nobody at the match texting back to anyone?

MA will be switching the 'winning streak mentality to the need to lose to get the wake up call one'. and 'it does you good to concede a goal now and then...... '.

Stops u gettin' complacent.
