King is a young player with potential and should be viewed as such - at his age he can still develop quickly and become a real asset to the club

We don't have many other players like that

A player who can score a dozen goals from midfield must have something about him

We have to be patient though and continually knocking him for what he's not good at is pointless at his age...

At least the "Preston are a big club" quotes have stopped appearing after I foolishly suggested they had a beter team. Although them beating us twice in as many weeks might have had something to do with it :icon_lol:

and I argued that the reason they would rather sign for them is because they have a better team and chance of going up. Which I still think is true even with our good start to the season.

It's fine, I only need to mention that King can't tackle to save his life and people will start sticking up for him because he came through the youth team and has the "potential" to be a good player.

I'l stick up for him, not because he came through the youth team, but because he has other things than tackling that contribute to the team.
