Great to see he wasn't booed yesterday. Maybe the crowd just saw him as CL's man?? Hope he has been given a clean slate cos he looks like a solid player at centre back.

Agree there Luke, in many fans eyes, Kisnorbo, MDV, Hamill and to a lesser extent Maybury were viewed as Levein's leuitenants (sp) and so when things started to go wrong, they were the easy targets.

Levein leaving may well be the best thing for Kisnorbo, it seems tohave removed the shackles, he certainly has benefitted in the last couple of games, thoroughly deserved the reception he got from the fans yesterday, hopefully he will go on to become a firm favourite.

Or follow CL to wherever he ends up along with Maybury? After the slating he received in the past maybe he won't forgive and forget....

What was funny about the man of the match award is that it was sponsored by a Wolverhampton brewery I think. :038:

Whilst the slating was unjustified, no player should endure being booed before he goes onto the pitch, he was hopelessly out of his depth in midfield, and that should have been resloved by the manager pretty quickly. TBH he seems pretty happy at the moment, maybe he is just glad of the opportunity to play in his true position. I would have thought he would do well to steer clear from CL, as it is he who perservered for so long at centre midfield when it was so plainly obvious it was not his position.

I know from reading articles up here that Kisnorbo thinks CL is wonderful and is grateful for him for giving him a chance in British Football.I wouldn't say CL was playing him out of position because PK also said that he considers himself a Central Midfielder but will play anywhere, maybe we have stumbled on PK's best position by accident.

Whatever way we have stumbled across it, he certainly is a better centre half, he looks better with the game being played in front of him, looks a lot more confident at centre half as well, looked better in possession.

Until he makes one mistake and the boneheads will be straight on him...you mark my words PFKA.At the moment they are circling looking for some poor sod to persecute....

Don't think Kelly should get the credit for moving Kisnorbo into central defence, he played there (and played well) at Plymouth.

... except, perhaps, in that single moment where he gave the free-kick away that led to their goal?

No, no, no - I don't blame him for that. He's had 3 great games in his new role IMHO.

I've heard that somewhere before. Ah yes, here it is.

Some were like this :045:, some were like this :026: and others were like this :041:; but I think most were just like this :icon_surp:icon_surp:icon_surp:icon_surp - surprised at the total lack of booing!

Agree with your observation on CLs DoF credentials Boc (I'm trying hard here to ensure you get the credit ok!?)

His apparent inability to motivate players is his biggest weakness imo. He does have his strenghts in other areas it seems.

Not to worry. I'm probably on your 'avoid at all costs' list.
;)

i was pleased for kisnorbo or it kiss nobbo? as some posters recently valled him :102: :icon_lol:

i thought kisnorbo, whilst he played well, looks a little short for a centre half

cort was about 6 inches clear of him. if if weren't for the fact that cort is absolutely dreadful, he could have mullered him on headers

oh and i thought o'grady didn't look up to the championship level yet, he backs in too much and lescott had him in his pocket
