i thought kisnorbo, whilst he played well, looks a little short for a centre half

cort was about 6 inches clear of him. if if weren't for the fact that cort is absolutely dreadful, he could have mullered him on headers

You going to drop McCarthy too then cause he is 6ft 1 and Kisnorbo is 6ft 2?!

What is the minimum height you want?! :icon_sad: :102:

got slated in another thread too :)

just thought cort towered over him and it was a good job cort is sh1te

i said i thought he played well...

Aussie paddy had a good game on Saturday, but I really think he was not playing too differently from what he was in CM. As a defender your basic first job is to clear the ball by any means possible, if then you have time you can distribute the ball to one of your team mates. On Saturday Paddy did this very well, but when in midfield more is expected of you, you are there to help the defence when needed, but you need to do more with the ball rather than just whellying it away, you need to produce good passing and create openings even as a defensive midfielder. Paddy played his game, got a bit of backing from the fans (which in his case is they were off his back), his confidence grew and his passing got better.
Well done paddy you have proven alot of people wrong, me included, keep it up.:038:

the other thing is that he clearly knows how to play CB and didn't know how to play CM. His primary job as the holding midfielder is to break up opponents attacks and protect the back 4 which he didn't do at all.
