Kisnorbo says:

We've been talking since the end of last season and I know the club faxed a final draft to my agent yesterday to check over it all.

I'm very pleased and the club and the gaffer are as well. It's a big endorsement from the club to be handed a new deal less than 12 months after signing your old one and I'm very humbled by the gesture.

I know there's been talk linking me with Wigan Athletic and Birmingham City in the local press. It's always flattering to be mentioned in association with other clubs. Getting that recognition means my form is catching the eye and sometimes you need that outside reassurance to push you on.

I'm happy at Walkers stadium. We're a Premiership club in the making and there's a lot of potential in this playing group. If we can continue the form we showed towards the end of last season, we will definitely be pushing for promotion this term. I know last season was tough for supporters, but speaking to a lot of them around town I they're excited as we are about the campaign ahead.

Good news really, he was excellent when Rob Kelly played him at centre back. Who would have thought though when Levien was in charge that we'd be happy with Kisnorbo staying!

He was good when Levein played him at centre back, and at left back.

I apologise, but at least Kelly realised Kisnorbo should stay at centre back.

brilliant news. like his thinking and what he said. i think after the confidence he recieves from playing well in defence he may well improve on his previous performances in midfield if called upon. remember he was getting slatted by the fans and probably shit himself every time he recieved the ball. with less pressure he may benefit. just a thought

sounds painful...no wonder he shit himself

Maybury played right wing first half and stearman right back, although they did interchange a bit.

Sheehan played left back first half, Nissa played left back second half.
