I think this would be a great move if we even got half of the money we are talking about. Yes it would be a shame but we are going to have to let the odd one go to continue to move forward.

It would be a crap move, PK had a good finish to last season, FFS he even overlooked a chance to play for his country so as he could see the city out of the relegation battle. That could have cost him a world cup place.

We might get good money for him, but IMO we need him. Who is to say the money is not going to bring in say a couple of Hammonds? Him and Paddy Mac built up a good platform to use for this season. Nobody can say they were not good. I dont want to go back to the days of chopping and changing our defence to find out which works best. We now know what works best.......

We have to get rid of at least one centre-back before the start of the season, I'd rather it be Kisnorbo than McCarthy or Stearman (probably the only other two that would command a substantial fee).

Come on BG, you're not that Naive.

He played his socks off to earn a place in the World Cup squad, when he knew he wasn't going, he did the same as most of us would that are playing for our careers. Come out with the most outrageuos bollox imaginable about not playing in the greatest tournament on Earth, purely to help out a small time piss pot 2nd division club from getting relegated.

Never in a million years do I buy that little tale

As Leigh has mentioned, we all expect one defender to go at least. I'd rather it be the player who had a good last third of the season than one of the youngsters.

Why............. hes on a roll, or RK knows how and where to play him best as was seen by all last season

I would think that he is a bit faster than any of our other Centre backs as well.

No I am not naive, but the friendly tounament he turned down in early March could have led to a WC place, it was up for grabs.

My thoughts are he is improving and at a dramatic rate, why sell someone who has loads of potential. Under that kunt CL he played him wrong which has left a bad taste in most peoples mouths. I say give him a good run in the team with Paddy Mac

another good point to keep him....

I think the recent signings of McAuley and Kenton have provided extra cover because Kelly knows that one of our centre backs is going to be leaving. It's a good move IMO, because I'm sure the club needs the funds. So to replace Kisnorbo with Kenton, an experienced player at this level, and McAuley who has impressed in the last 2 years, is a very good bit of business by Kelly.

not at this level, but with the other LCFC in lower divisions.

Maybe but he'll never be of Premiership standard and Kisnorbo might be,if we are building a team capable of keeping us in the premiership when/if we get there then we should be looking to keep the likes of Kisnorbo.Kenton was a 'nothing' signing IMO a waste of a good wage.McAuley still might prove up to Premiership standard. If we sell Kisnorbo it will be to get some money in no other reason but.

I'm glad I've not got your level of arrogance.

If we're going to get rid of a defender I'd rather it was Kisnorbo for a few quid. yes he had a good third of a season but how long till that run comes to an end, he makes a mistake or two and the booboys get on his back for being a Levein favourite.

In English press reports he said he didn't go off to play for Australia because he wanted to help Leicester in their relegation battle.

In the Australian press it was reported that he said Leicester wouldn't let him play for Australia.

Maybe he said both, and he's not heard of the internet.

Also any club is on a winner when Wigan comes in. Because everyone knows that Wigan pay way over the odds money to persuade players to join them.

In an ideal world we would keep Kisnorbo as a useful player...but it's not and its obvious from RK's acquisitions this summer that we are skint and IMO would have to sell anyone at the right price.
