They are close to some big cities which lack decent teams, which must be where much of their new support cones from.

Just read CR's interview on Eurosport, it it he says Kramaric didn't fit into City's style of play because he likes to rest in between attacks, and that isn't what he wants from his attacking players, basically Kramaric is a lazy so and so. That's my interpretation of CR's comments certainly explains why he never played, and would never play in this team.

Some of the best strikers in the world "rest between attacks". They don't have the stamina to play at 100% for 90 minutes so save their energy for scoring goals. It doesn't mean they're lazy, they just play to their strengths.

These are professional footballers, stamina should never be an issue, not with the resources available to keep them fit, everything from dieticians to highly personalised training regimes, sorry Jeff but I don't buy the 'saving energy or lack of stamina' argument.

I think regardless of all the resources available some people are naturally fitter than others. If it was that simple everyone would have a team of Jamie Vardys running at full throttle every game.

Yeah, I mean, what are they, humans or something?!

OK, look at professional tennis players of the highest calibre, they sometimes play four/five hour matches in torrid conditions, they don't want to but do in the top tournaments. Again they have personalised training which includes a stamina regime, plus a specialised diet, plus masseurs to keep their bodies in top shape, so they can compete at the highest level. Boxing is another sport which demands the highest dedication, again stamina is highly valued it also has all the necessary add-ons for optimum performance. Athletics, Cycling you name the sport they all do the same thing. Team sports rely on the individual players reaching their highest ability level, but they too have all the back-up to help them do this, they may have a different set of skills as individuals, but all should have the stamina to last for the full game, without 'having a rest'.

That Yakubu was a right lazy so and so.

Likewise, Iain Hume could run all day.

Who would you rather have?

Tennis where they have a seat to have a banana and a breather every game? Most of the best cyclists deliberately pace themselves unless it's a sprint, same with running.

Makes you wonder why American footballers don't also sprint around every second of the 5 hours that the games take. In fact, they should be sprinting round in a circle while the coach is giving them the next play. Lazy bastards.

You obviously haven't watched Cam Newton play....

A striker resting between attacks is probably something Claudio could accept if that striker was a potent goalscorer, but Kramaric never looked like being one of them at this level. Good chance for him to prove himself in Germany though. He's still a Leicester player so I hope he does well, even if itit's inevitable that he'll leave at the end of the season.
