Re: City in for former Jailbird

From the Beeb ...

Leicester City to allow defender Michael Lamey to leave

Leicester City have have told defender Michael Lamey he is free to leave.

Lamey, 31, was signed by former manager Paulo Sousa on a free transfer last summer after a pre-season trial.

But the Dutch right-back, who has a year left on his contract, only played seven games last term, and just one match under Sven-Goran Eriksson.

Foxes boss Eriksson told BBC Radio Leicester: "I know that Lamey is our player but he should try to get another club and he knows that."

Sounds like we are dfinately landing Naughton on a permo, or we've got someone lined up. To be letting one of our right backs go and the other possibly to follow on loan, then surely we have him lined up?

All it means is that Sven doesn't think Lamey is good enough.

I'm sure Sven has a list of possible replacements (maybe two lists...), but there's probably nothing concrete yet.

I thought Superscout's was the second one. Who else has sent him a list?

Me. Did you not read the thread?

I know Naughton is high up on Warnock's list so hopefully if QPR get a new manager...then he maybe ours....:117:
