Big article in last nights Blackpool Evening Gazette about Blackpool bracing themselves for an approach from Leicester for the services of Larry Grayson - he has transformed Blackpool this season finishing above the trees in 3rd spot

For those who dont know his assistant is Steve Thompson, but i dont see them high on MM's list .I see Steve alot (in the pub) i shall ask him next time i see him

ur up early Dennis - I had Tommo in me cab one night - really made his night when i starting singing "one stevie thompson theres only one stevie....." as he got in

No it wont because the story was on the inside back page under the headline "Foxy eyes on Grayson" next to a large Leicester badge - part of the story reads " The boss is on a rolling contract but while that means the club can get rid cheaply if things turn sour it also means Grayson will find it simpler to leave for another club if one he fancies comes knocking - Leicester City, where Grayson was hero-worshiped as a player and is still held in high regard is the big worry - They appointed Nigel Worthington to replace Rob Kelly until the end of the season - What Pool fans hope is that they aren't looking for someone else in the summer specifically Grayson" - the story goes on to say that Grayson is commited to getting Blackpool into the fizzie via the playoffs etc.

Did the article mention Slack Alice ?

If she's not on her way in a support role, then Grayson is a complete no for me

imo thats a bigger exaggeration then me saying tony blair leaving is my best birthday present......

Don't know - he was me hero when he scored the equaliser against the Wombles in the league cup semi final - well for a couple of weeks anyway

One of my distant rellies (through marriage) died last year of cancer. She was only in her 30's/40's and a die hard City fan. Larry travelled down from Blackpool to attend her funeral.

Top bloke !!!

Compared to the current crop of wasters that don the City shirt, Grayson was a fecking hero, at least he always gave 110% to the cause.

What does this mean? All three of the Football League divisions are sponsored by Coca-Cola, so they are already in the 'fizzie'.
