Think it was BG who recommended Friends on Belgrave Road.

Went there tonight the food was fantastic, two bonuses, the waitress split a full pint over my mother in law and the father in law paid.

8/10

Hey, I was in there last night, too. Good trough but the service was a tad erratic. 7/10

Where were you sat Dour, we were the goup of 6 sat in the middle bit near the bar. You may have seen the commotion when the waitress tipped my full pint over the in law.

We were by the windows, on the first table after you go up the step. I was sat more or less facing the window, so I'd have had my back to you and thus sadly missed the fun.

someone spilt a whole pint over one of your group and you still paid?

Given the circumstances, he no doubt added a handsome tip as well!

A) Accidents happen
B) They're paying for all of the dry cleaning
C) The bill was over £200.00, can't see us walking away from that.
D) I wasn't paying so couldn't give a monkeys.
E) It's about an hours work for the father in law so he couldn't be bothered kicking off.

Fcuk eating out, I haven't managed to do it for a few weeks.
All you need is Corned Beef on Toast :038:

How much booze did you neck to get it up to that? Ours came to under £20 a head, even with me swilling as much Kingfisher as decency would allow.

Now i'm not usually the biggest buffet fan. Usually the food looks like left overs from other restaurants.

On Saturday I went to a new place that has just opened and it is amazing!!! Feast India I think it was called on Melton Road. The place is absolutely huge, someone told me it use to be a supermarket to give you some idea of size.

I can't fault the place, well maybe the slow drinks service but the rest is a 10/10. You have Indian food, chinese food... i'm sure I even saw pizza. You can pick all the ingrediants and they cook it in front of you or you can just help yourself to the masses of food already layed out.

The bill worked out at about £20 each... and that was with 4 rounds of beers on top!! So to eat as much as you want it's between about £10-£14pp.

Give it a go!!

I went to the Noodle Bar last night.

Basically its functional. It's ideal as pre-piss up eaterie.

one of the best restaurants for indian food in Leicester. :038: :038: :038:

The Greasy Spoon about 1/4 of a mile away from Wembley, it's OK if you can keep your own family under control in there without them getting ejected.:icon_wink

Excellent service, and very helpful staff members :icon_lol:

I went to Cini in Enderby on Friday night. The portions were quite small but the food was excellent and you didn't need much of it. You couldn't fault the service either.
