Fusions at the walkers.

Booked a table arrived to find there no other bookings at all for the evening :icon_eek: That doesnt exactly fill you full of confidence. However the one waitress and one chef on duty did a fairly good job The starter was a mushroom bruschetta i would say 8/10.The main meal was a lamb hock which was a little on the chewy side 7/10 .The cheese and vintage port was excellent. Washed down with a bottle of French Syrah. Im not sure if Fusions is owned by the club or they simply contract out the room what i do know is you cant continue for long without any customers. Its not that pricey, the surroundings are excellent the foods is good i cant work out
why nobody goes there. It is a restuarant that needs to raise its profile within the community.

Ive been once at the weekend during the day for a private booking, was superb, the food was lovely, the views are great and it feels nice to be trying something different to the normal settings.

Shame the place isn't busier really, maybe due to it being out a limb compared to ther places.

I think you've answered your own question. I've been pre-match and for a Christmas party night, but I hadn't realised you could just book it as an individual.

Its about my third trip mainly for birthdays plus you get the view of the stadium. The first time i went was fairly busy the second it was down to a dozen and last night..........just the two of us :102::icon_bigg

Went to terracotta last night. Was pretty good, ate lots, and it was cheap! The mrs nearly got me into a fight with some of the lowlifes in there which was less good! Its only downfall is the other patrons which were mainly from the new parks, braunstone frith end of the social spectrum.

Awful, awful, fecking awful. I never knew a place which go wrong on a well done steak but I went the Gynsells.

You never knew that somewhere could get a well done steak wrong until you went to the Gynsells? :102:

Am I close? Do I win £5?

Good translation. Fancy becoming the first Hazzish interpretor?

I can't imagine it pays enough & would eventually turn my limited brain cells further into mush.

For that reason, I'm out.

But thanks for the offer. :023: :icon_bigg

Anyone tried the buffet place on Charles street, can't remember the weird name of it.

In answer to your question babs.......................its called

Zucherro - foods of the world. Mrs lazzer been reckons it about 7/10 its £12 all you can eat.Her only complaint was it was student night and every time they replenished the food the tax dodging bastards swooped like a swarm of locusts :icon_bigg
