Cuisine of India -kelmarsh avenue wigston got a great review in the Metro it is owned by the same guy who owns Little India they have took a chef from arnesby and the head waiter. Will be visiting shortly.

Shimla Pink is an asian for term for the high society women of India a bit like Sloane Ranger.

The restuarant in glenfiled is a new Swatland and is highly recommended .

I am going to, what has been described to me as, "the new Indian restaraunt in Glenfield" on Saturday night. Any ideas which it might be, and if it's any good? Looking at you for this one Drummin'!

I've only had take aways from there so i cant comment on the restaurant experience, but the food is pretty decent

Watsons - I'd heard rave reviews and some in my group thought it was great, others like me were less than impressed. I thought my soup was fairly bland and my main course was not very warm. I wasn't paying for the meal and didn't want to make a fuss otherwise I would have sent it back.

Red Lion, Barlestone.

Pub turned restaurant. Food was good if a little on the expensive side. Menu was a bit over the top, Ramsey would have had a field day with the duck being described as being "escorted" by a stir fry.

Overall very good a recommendation, nice beer garden for the summer and they have loads of events on as well.

Ended up being fully booked so we got takeout from there instead! Was very nice though!

Fusions at the walkers.

Booked a table arrived to find there no other bookings at all for the evening :icon_eek: That doesnt exactly fill you full of confidence.However the one waitress and one chef on duty did a fairly good job The starter was a mushroom bruschetta i would say 8/10.The main meal was a lamb hock which was a little on the chewy side 7/10 .The cheese and vintage port was excellent. Washed down with a bottle of French Syrah. Im not sure if Fusions is owned by the club or they simply contract out the room what i do know is you cant continue for long without any customers.Its not that pricey,the surroundings are excellent the foods is good i cant work out
why nobody goes there.It is a restuarant that needs to raise its profile within the community.

I went out for a meal last night to a place called called The Creagan Inn which is near a place calld Appin.They'd spent thousands of pounds on refurbishing the place,fantastic views across the loch,sea yards away.Unfortunately the food was fecking awful

Went on Friday night.

Very, VERY busy and spent most of the night trying to avoid that ****ing magician and his card tricks floating from table to table. I reckon he soon realised our table wasn't the most approachable looking table in the house :icon_bigg

Starter was superb, but the main course was shite. Not due to the quality I hasten to add, it was down to me choosing something I didn't like.

The hottest flannels in the world at the end, luvvly jubbly.

Anybody seen Lionel Richie working the tables? :icon_lol:
