I used to buy my Rizlas at Swatlands in Oadby when it was a traditional newsagents/sweet shop, back in the days when I was a naughty teenager. That place has been there for donkeys years. I had no idea they'd kept the name and even taken it with them to start a curry empire!

Ah, the good old days.... mind you, turning a newsagents into a curry house, in my opinion, shows signs of considerable progress.

I went to school with Swatty

The great big fat bastard was always eating sweets from the shop

We used to call it Swatty's!

(on a more disturbing level, that means you may have gone to the same school/s as me Homey............... but I'm sure that, as well as better looking, I'm also younger, so I probably don't know you :icon_wink)

The most disturbing thing is that I have now just noticed you were born on the same day as Mrs homer

Has she finally discovered my sanctuary ?

You're not seven months pregnant, are you ?

Anyone know of a good Authentic Mexican in the area, i'm willing to travel a bit.

I don't want any of these faux Mexicans either.

Rugger Tavern - Nuneaton

£6.99 all you can eat Balti.

If you value your digestive health, dont bother.

Babylonia, Bowling Green St.
Owner and staff very pleasant. Venue too small for the amount of people and tables. Food Ok, prefer Troodos in Glenfield for good greek food. Having said that it was a good night out and we were made very welcome. Prices OK £14.95 each for 'Grand Meze'. Total bill for 8 with beers, bottles of wine, food £200
