The premier league is only saying it’s mandatory because the clubs voted it in. How could our club vote in favour when they know the strength of feeling against it. Why aren’t you challenging them on this?

“League rules will require clubs to ensure that Season Tickets and all Home and Away Match Tickets by default are made available as digital tickets. Clubs will retain some discretion to make some tickets available in other formats to supporters who have reasonable grounds to request them.”

Our fantastic lot will just roll over and let them ignore the last bit altogether

I think (if I’m interpreting that correctly) that means that if you ask for a mars bar you can be given a packet of crisps.

As just posted on the FCC thread..... The problem with digital ticketing is that many clubs are already fully digital. Our understanding is the Premier League do want digital as the default option for the 26/27 season, the main battle will become over the "permitted" exceptions.

This will become our main focus and 2 of the FAB fan reps were at the forefront on the battle with the club on this topic last summer.

Someone in this story either doesn’t know what ‘mandatory’ means or just made something up and communicated it as fact. I’m not reading everything to find out who because I don’t rightly give a ****, but communication of this standard leads me to believe something hilariously stupid is going to happen. Again.
