i asked the guy in the ticket office yesterday and he said yes. every match this season

i'm not sure about 6th form students. As i said though i know of people gettin these tickets and just walking through unchecked. It really is as easy as buying them for either LCFC or de mont uni shop and walking straight in the ground

I'm all for any one reading this to try it, my problem is that i can imagine there will be a fair few season ticket holders like myself who are students who have been well and truly shafted. Where's the benefit of buying a season ticket?! :018:

that is sick, we should demand a refund!!! We have got ripped off, i thought season tickets were meant to be the cheapest?!

They are, if you buy a student season ticket it's very cheap, around the same as an OAP, I have had one for the last 4 or so seasons.

Now I'm all growded up I have to cough up more!

Does this apply to six form students

Course it would as they have a NUS card.

I once bought a ticket from last season's game away to Luton at City's TO and the bloke wanted to save me money, he asked 'how old are you?', I replied '17', he goes 'well, you can have a student ticket.'

He then said 'Got any ID for it?', I said 'Dont think I have any on me' and then I found my college ID. He said 'Take that to be extra sure, ya'll be alright'. Seen the same bloke down Summer Sundae security this year.

the guy said yesterday you have to be a Leicester uni or dmu student. Then again that doesn't mean a thing if they don't check.

You can get a young adult season ticket for cheaper which is up to the age of 21. I am 22 and a student therefore there is a massive difference in prices here

19 matches - 5 quid per game - £115
Season ticket where i sit - £420 (approx)

Never mind, look on the positive side.

You can always bask in a warm glow of self righteousness, secure in the knowledge that by not taking a discount you have set a good example to those shareholders who don't want to give away their shares for nothing. You have done it to make more funds available for the squad.;)

On a more serious note, though, whenever I ring up & ask for an Adult ticket, they say "but your a Senior Member - you get a discount". Its no use saying "I know, but as I'm not actually an OAP and have an income above the average wage, so I don't think its justified" - they still send me a cheap one anyway!:icon_roll
