Listening to a woman's (Jo?) shoddy attempt at talking footy on the phone in has got me thinking:

I've personally never encountered a female fan who I've had an intelligent football conversation with.

I work for a very good female boss (a Spurs fan), who I've learnt a great deal from. My wife, daughter, sister and mother are all smart enough. I even sat next to my sister (who was a season ticket holder) at Filbo for a couple of years.

But talk football with any of them? Not recommended.

There must be some sophisticated female City fans out there? For all I know, many of the smarter posters on here are women? But I must have heard/talked to loads over the years and, without exception, they've been very poor. It's like talking football with kids.

One (Sheila?) was just on the phone in saying that Kaebi was 'brilliant' when he came on against Watford! I'm sorry Sheila, but he was a shambles/headless chicken.

Maybe it's because they are a minority. After all, there are plenty of male loons too. Opinions?

Whilst he wasn't "brilliant" I certainly don't think he was a headless chicken, maybe the women are smart, it's the other half of the conversation dragging it down?

My missus is a ST holder too so I always say I will get a Chinese if we win rather than get her to cook.

Thankfully I've saved a few quid the last few seasons..............

To be honest listening to some of the twattish comments from some fans I have had the misfortune to be sat amongst at City matches, the same could be levelled at a number of blokes as well ( and no I dont mean Melts or BG !!!)

Exactly - there is loads of numpties what ring on that moan-in. TBH, I haven't had an intelligent conversation with a woman/girl about LCFC because I have never met one who liked LCFC enough.

I've had many an unintelligent conversation with guys about football - the majority of the cr@p coming from the other participant!

Whether I talk intelligently about football, I couldn't tell you, but I do know all the rules (well, as much as anyone can when they keep changing them!), so that's a start, right?!
