James Maddison
Absence: Extended holiday
While he did not get onto the pitch with England, Maddison has still been afforded a break after the Three Lions' exit in the quarter-final. He was in Dubai over the weekend and so is not expected to be available for the game against MK Dons.
It is likely he will then return to training and prepare with his team-mates for the Premier League meeting with Newcastle on Boxing Day. The knee injury that kept him out of the first two England games no longer looks to be a problem.
Possible return date: Newcastle (H), December 26
Caglar Soyuncu
Injury: Hamstring
Granted his first Premier League appearance of the season against Manchester City, Soyuncu has not been seen since. The Turkish defender picked up a hamstring injury in the week leading up to City's win at Everton, and is yet to return.
It is understood that that injury kept him out of the club's warm-weather training camp in Abu Dhabi, and he was not seen in the behind-closed-doors friendlies either. An update is expected at Brendan Rodgers' press conference this week.
Possible return date: Unknown
