Two upfront Daka and Vardy would have done nicely imo. Great goal from Barnes but he offered nothing much else, I take it his job is not to track back and wait for the counter attack?

Why does he not have Vardy on the halfway line when are defending corners? It means the opposition need to keep two back just deal with him, if he is going to continue with a zonal defence then placing someone with pace on the edge of our 18 yard box will help us, it de clutters the area and helps link up if we counter, provided schmiecal can bothered that is oh and keep the ball on the pitch.
I think this has been dealt with a lot of times. Vardy is one of our most effective defenders from corners (not a high bar admittedly) so it's important he's in the box to win headers.

That said, I thought that bringing Daka on at 60 mins would have made a lot of sense. Not only for what he offers going forward, but also his pace would have forced Leeds to have left defenders back and reduced their ability to attack.

It felt like there was space to be exploited behind Leeds defence and, in my opinion, the title winning team would have had a hat-full in that match. Then again, Claudio wouldn't have finished the game with a back 5 and 2 defensive midfielders against a team we could have beaten.

Or if it's like Fofana, a couple of days.
Hope it’s not like Fofana…otherwise we can’t possibly play anything other than abysmally until he’s back playing.

Good, gives him chance to reset and start the season again.

He's been well off the pace recently.

I wonder if it's something he's been nursing for a while, the look in his face when he came off was one of annoyed resignation.
