Re: Leeds Match Thread

Leeds were not lucky... We were sh!t!!!

Time to start talking to prospective managers Milan. I've held of saying this for a long time but I can hold out no longer...

KELLY OUT!!!

Re: Leeds Match Thread

They had quite a few chances tonight. We really still need to get a striker who can finish!!

Re: Leeds Match Thread

If you have any pretense of being a half-decent side, you have to beat the bottom club at home. I think that's the general point.

FT 1-1. Sounds like we need a goalscorer. ;)

Re: Leeds Match Thread

Is a draw too bad against a team supposedly fighting for their lifes. Many were worried about losing so all in all i'll take a point and move on.

We need to get two or three strikers who can finish. We need two wingers who can cross a decent ball. We need a bus load of central midfielders. We need to add depth to the centre half positions. Kisnorbo and McAuley are fine but after that we have no-one (and yes I include McCarthy in that). We need full backs who are comfortable coming forward and can add to the attack. Has Johansson ever crossed a ball?

Oh, and we need a new manager and a new coaching team.

Oh yes I agree but to me it sounded an average performance and we had the lack of a killer touch. Leeds had some luck (which we had a lack of), including their first goal.

However, all this maybe irrelevant after all we have had from just two opinions, one of which spent long periods of the second half watching the Cricket World Cup.

I'm sure it was more entertaining than that crap.

Ian Dowie isn't looking so bad now, is he?

Feck A Duck, there will be better options available in the Summer.

I'd just like to say, I can not see the big probelm with this performance. Sounded basic, the midfield must have been doing their job because posession was kept well, defence had no probelms, their goal was a stunner. To me, this end of the season is mostly about the performances, the results will come but it's about judging whose good and who not so. Learned from this game, the strikers need a serious looking at.

I don't care whether it was Leeds or Derby or Colchester, it doesnt have much appliance for the players, none of them are born in this city or supported to the club. For them, at our current stage and position, they are just 'another team.' It's up to them to prove themselves in front of Milan, the same applies for RK. If they dont prove themselves, they will be (mostly) shot of.

I know it's a bad result but it's a decent performance. When you realistically look at the situation, there is nothing to play for, results are increasingly as the season goes by have no impact on any situation.

Absolute Dog shit

I think Stephen Hughes would still get into this team if he was even deader than he already is.

Garbage, boring, predictable garbage. Sort it Milan

Cheerio Rob.

To add,

If we end up going with R.Kelly next season, for a first season in charge, he's had a decent season with a lack of money and learnt an incredible amount about the division. In all, a decent finishing spot to a season what realistically had little prospects to it.

I hope we go for a high name appointment in the summer and attract some interesting professionals to the club with the right mix of hungry, young invidiuals whether in the lower division, currently at the club in the academy I am not bothered.
