I looked at tickets from London - I could do Nuneaton-London-Leeds-Nuneaton for about the same price as Nuneaton-Leeds-Nuneaton, but I'd have to leave too early.
The cheapest tickets I found from London don't go via Leicester, they go via Peterborough, and even then the ticket wouldn't be valid getting on half way through the journey. Probably wouldn't get caught but if you did you'd have to pay the full fare.

Don't you get a third off with your 'Young Persons Railcard' though Webbo...?

It is possible to get a £6 MML single to Leeds and loads of other places off the main MML routes - but none available on Saturday. Presumably MML found out there is a football match!

well.....only every weekend or so. i meant virgin to be honest with you, if you book through the gner website and find which station on the midland mainline is cheapest to get to and from leeds they book it under virgin trains anyway (being part of thetrainline.com), its an easier site to use that is all

That's the trouble with Leicester Virgins - they just don't stop!!

One other problem with Virgins is there's not much space inside the younger ones, particularly for someone as big as me.
