Mate, this is bollocks.

I've made no secret of the fact that I don't think he's a great player but he is constantly working hard both going forwards and tracking back; harder than any other player in our squad. He is also far less responsible for losing the ball in daft areas than Soumare, Winks, Mavididi, Buonanotte, Kristiansen.... I could go on.
I could show you countless clips where he does not track back when play breaks or he loses it. I don't think it is through a lack of desire, it is more that he is physically shattered.

10 years ago he was a very good player at Palace sadly he is a shadow of his former self. When he recieves the ball he takes an absolute age to release it.

Khannouss is by far our hardest working player in virtually every game, sadly I do not believe he will not be here at the end of the season.

Apologies if it appears I am singling him out, I was offering my opinion to a previous posts, I do not think he is all that.

our weak point has been our wingers for a long bloody time, RvN either changes things tactically to cover us defensively or he makes them track back.

This squad was not prepared well in pre season and is woefully unfit now, we are not good enough for this level and fitness helps to close that gap.

Well we will have to agree to disagree. He may not be the most talented footballer in the world but he puts in a massive shift going forward and tracking back.

Yes most will agree that we’re ****ed so let’s think championship, the owners are obviously with just 3m spent during January, that was never going to keep us in the prem, especially with our defence,
Who the **** saw potential in Okoli ??? Was it that forest tosser ?

Okoli has been our best defender for the past two games and was excellent yesterday.

10 years ago he was playing for Lorient in France. Then Swansea, then Villa, before ending up in Palace a few years later.

In isolation yes totally fine performance. The often required luck playing a big six side departed us but by comparison, Cooper got two chunks of it at the Emirates.

However we need points and we will always look comfortable against the top sides on the ball.

The likes of Arsenal don’t feel the need to press us as strongly bevauae they will have 70% of the possession.

Next Friday, Brentford will come here with a stronger strike force for one and press the living daylights out of the back four and two centre midfielders. We will look disorganised, terrible in possession and lose 3-0.

We are back to Cooperball and selection. Now the luck and a goalkeeper on incredible form has disappeared
I really don’t think our position, our performances, and our results have anything to do with luck. Luck didn’t depart us yesterday. We were once again toothless in attack and once against couldn’t defend well for an entire game.

Leicester have an abundance of CM, and CB, unfortunately only Ndidi and surprisingly Sourmare are any good. Leicester are relying on a 38 year old to play every game and keep themselves up, blowing £20M on Skipp was insane especially when there was already, Winks, Ndidi, Sourmare, and Choudhury that can play in the CM role, Skipp offers nothing different to any of the above.
When Leicester get relegated those that made the decision to buy poorer players in positions that are already bloated need to look at themselves in the mirror.

Why wait. They should be taking a good look at themselves now. In fact stuff that… they should be gone.

In Rudkin's case, if I were him I'd too dodge looking at myself.

The soul-destroying undead, who suck the joy out of everyone and thrive on the misery and despair of others, cannot see their reflections in a mirror.

They certainly did during Cooper's period which was my point. Incidents at Arsenal, Saints and Ipswich all involved fortune. That fortune is now gone and we are left with quality fully exposed.

And still believe any team from the bottom crop playing the top sides needs a bit of fortune to claim some points against them; whether that be a player error or referee cock-ip. Particular if the quality gap is so huge. Notwithstanding, I still haven't seen a team come here and give us a good beating. It's a strange old world when Notts Forest second half performance was the most complete hammering we've faced.

That said Odegaard stood out like a sore thumb on that pitch, if he had a right foot, he be up there with the best in the game currently.

Spot on. The bottom teams need luck as well as quality. We had some very good fortune at the start of the season and that ran out pretty quickly. We don't have the quality to make up for the loss of luck.

We don't deserve good luck because we don't work hard enough.

Our pressing / tracking / sprinting is appalling. Basics of the game any side should be able to do.

We've lost loads of games under RvN because we haven't fought. We've faced several opponents (Arsenal included) who were woefully short of their best but they didn't need to get out of second gear to win.
