There are many quotes in my head that I’ve previously read and held on to. I probably read this one when reading about imposter syndrome as I used to feel my career was purely down to luck. And reading about it made me realise that there probably has been elements of luck (i.e. opportunity), but with a foundation of a strong worth ethic (I.e. preparation).

Anyway, this thread has become weird.
That's fair enough, and interesting to hear. Thanks for clearing that up.

100% original.

Seeing as you've been very careful in dodging my original question, I can only assume you asked AI (or a search engine) to give you a good quote on how to eloquently describe luck, and chose to use the words of Seneca. And (if I'm correct on my assumption) that's fine, I'd just prefer it if people could be open about it.

I'm feeling there in an upwards trend of posters on here copying and pasting AI responses in to their own replies, and whilst that's obviously going to be a trend across all platforms where people "write" replies, it doesn't sit particularly well with me. It dilutes the forum's originality.

I used AI to help form that long and irreverent story about how Cooper got the LCFC job but I think that was very obviously AI generated so I didn't feel the need to mention that it was AI assisted content (if you can call it that).

This isn't a personal dig at you by the way @City Fan, so please don't take it that way.
Are we now at a point where quoting great thinkers and pioneers of the past to help with conversation and debate is seen as lazy and unintelligent.

It's a little depressing that AI must be the logical explanation for speaking with eloquence.

Then again, Oscar Wilde said 'when you assume, you make an ass out of you and me'.

Everything ok mate?
Hmmm tricky to answer that one. We're way off topic, but I'm feeling pretty depressed when thinking too much about the future. It feels like such a shame that at this juncture where technological advances are about to seriously change humanity that we have such knuckleheads at the helm. If I park that to one side then all is well, except of course the obvious disappointment in how LCFC are going right now.

Who is this Al you're all taking about? Is it his real name or is it his bodyguard calling?

Speaking of incomprehensible gibberish, does anyone know who this Thomas Bradley Alderman lad is? I just tried reading one of his “articles” on that stupid Foxes of Leicester click-baiting site and it a) doesn’t make the point the headline hints at, and b) is total ****ing nonsense.

That has to be Leicestercity.news

I have fallen down the same trap. Clickbait on steroids.

Slightly more depressed after the latest bollocks coming out of Trump's really ugly gob.

Everyone saying anything against Trump looks like they are being forced to resign their position or sacked if it's a position that Trump can make such decision.
Can't wait until Greenland becomes Red White and Blue Land 🙄🙄

I heard about this and naturally thought it was a joke.

Try to see it as all part of The Great Game II - Trump approves Putin's grab for Ukraine - and in return Putin supports Trump's grab for Canada, Greenland, Panama and Gaza.

After the asteroid hits in 2032 - no one will care.
I shouldn’t worry about the asteroid.

More chance of Leicester winning the league.
