Slimani never gets delivery into the box. If you are expecting flick ons from goalkicks then you will be dissapointed. Thankfully he has the brains not to do this.

is there a square footage of the pitch where he is effective and we're neglecting? If that is the case then it shouldn't take the opposition long to work out how to stop it once we work out where it is. Ulloa can win headers and appears to have a better range of doing so. He can't get a sniff ahead of a bloke who legend says can possibly win a header in a very remote part of the pitch but offer **** all else. Laughable really.

Are you on crack? Albrighton played well and worked his socks off! Waso was about as fast as an asthmatic sloth and keoman exploited it.

Everton had two shots on target and scored had ulloja of scored we would have battered them we are devoid of confidence, hard Vardy and huth been playing we would have buried them

Get real, we couldn't have battered a ****ing sausage today.

Huth is no quicker than Wasil so not sure how he would have been less targeted than him.

We were shit and negative at home, if it continues then combined with our away form we are shagged.

People who think we were close to something today are deluded, Everton won and they were in neutral gear, it was pathetic.

Just back from an overseas Xmas. Can't say I'm surprised at what I missed.

Three points:

1. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Drinkwater is good in a winning team and fecking awful in a losing one. He has the backbone of a prawn. We cannot ever rely upon him in times of difficulty.

I'm pleased to hear that Chilwell impressed.

Anyone see Fuchs, Huth or Vardy?

More complete toss.

Which of our midfield maestros look superb in a losing side?

Drinkwater looks poor in a losing side, Andy King looks shite (if you can see him) in any side.

Drinkwater is the only class midfielder we have, maybe we should stop setting up to not lose and let him play some ****ing football.

dunno about you but "working his socks off" isn't the main thing I look for in a winger, Albright hasn't created much for over a year

He worked his socks off alright

He slavishly gave the ball away in almost every single part of the pitch
He also worked incredibly hard pumping the ball straight into the goalie's hands, or onto the head of the first defender
And he worked his bollocks off ducking out of more challenges than any other player on the pitch

A more utterly inept performance you would genuinely struggle to see

Think the team were much better than the suicidals are saying.

Chilwell, Gray, Amartey looked good.

We were toothless up front Slimani, Okazaki and Albrighton all had sub-par games.

Defence wasn't that bad but gave up a poor goal (which had some fortune). The second goal was irrelevant.

The very worst thing about Albrighton is that his deliveries have become absolute dog turds. That's what he's in the team for, arguably - as he has never had skill, pace, power or finishing prowess. Therefore it's a feckin' no brainer he should be dropped. Why the feck Ranieri is persisting with players that have been absolute shit for game after game is beyond anyone. You could perhaps excuse the CBs, as there is no better alternative at the minute.

The defending for the goals was classic Leicester this year. Virtually no threat at all from two shitty long balls, yet still....

Pretty much all Everton created all afternoon, two dogshit 1/8th of a chance chances, and they got them.

He is playing well in a team with a piss poor centre pairing, all this bollox that Gray should start is ..... well bollox, when he can dominate a full game and more importantly realise when it is better to pass than ****ing balloon the ball over the bar I will sit up and take notice.
Albrighton has created more than you think, I am getting sick to death of utter shite comments like play musa or gray when they have done **** all, as soon as we get a replacemant for king or Amartey ( so he can play in his proper position) the better.

Slimani is at his best when there's decent crosses flying in. Unfortunately for him, Albrighton was playing and didn't deliver a single one to anyone other than Robles.

The substitution decisions bordered on insanity.

He is not playing well, how anyone can say he is playing well is absurd.

What did he do well today?

I particularly lived his pathetic attempt at offering Chilwell any kind of option, resulting in Chilwell having to take a 70 yard run down the wing. Albrighton meanwhile tucked in behind him to offer a great defensive option.........we were losing and needed to get forward.

We needed pace and directness to get at what was a lacklustre Everton defence. We neither pressed hard enough or made the right substitutions.

We are up the creek with one paddle at the moment, and if Mahrez can't be arsed anymore as Ranieri hinted at, we are in for some repeats of today going forward.

Seems Slimani has got the Vardy illness and lost confidence. I liked his play when he came, then he got 'injured' and since his return hasn't looked confidant at all. I was disappointed with him yesterday. With him and Vardy looking goalless, Okazaki having a lot of below par games, Musa looking a little clueless, Mahrez only able to hit the target from the penalty spot, who is going to score for us?

I thought for 90% or more of the game the defense and midfield looked solid but they need the attackers to score goals to get us up the league.

Yes confidence -as we all know- is more or less everything. And we don't have any.

Equally confidence by the owners in the manager is required..... and I imagine that this is starting to get tested. It's a bad time with top players without form. The main striker suspended and to be honest his rash tackle brought it on himself and the club and then the ACoN looming.

Maybe ACoN is exactly what Mahrez and, to a lesser extent, Slimani need right now. A chance to get away and refocus, come back 'refreshed'. Maybe they're looking forward to it and it's distracting them.

Gotta say though, I have not been convinced by Slimani as yet, given the price tag. I'm sure he'll come right in time but, to me, he doesn't look like he's the x goals per season striker (however many it is) he's purported to be. Sure, we maybe are playing in a style that doesn't suit him but there's more to it than that I feel. I hope it is only confidence. Confidence, as noted, plays a huge part in performance.

Well, I thought Everton were very selfish, they kept passing the ball to their own players all the time, whereas when we got the ball we generously gave it straight back to them (except for Chilwell, because he seemed to want to run forward with the ball at his feet - but hey, he's still a kid with a new toy). Then when CR made the substitutions, Everton must have thought that Christmas had come around again, as it gift wrapped them the three points. To top off everything else, Everton scored with two break away goals a la Leicester-style. Really looking forward to the New Year...

I doubt you are right on the ACoN. From Leicester's point of view it's an unwelcome distraction, although I understand that the players concerned will value the opportunity. If Algeria have a long run the probability is that Mahrez (our best player irrespective of current form/ likelihood that he's looking for a move) and Slimani will also be given a rest.

On Slimani, I also doubt your confidence that "he'll come right in the end" - I've heard that said many times about past disappointing players. I just think the owners paid vastly too much for a player just about equal to Ulloa. Hope I'm wrong on this one but Nugent at his best was more of a threat and no one ever paid £30m for him.

How many good crosses did Slimani receive yesterday?

I see him being asked to sprint his bollocks off more than he receives anything like decent service.

I wonder why all of our strikers have looked shit this season off the back of excellent campaigns last year?

They have all decided to become complete shit at the same time.
