We'll have to pick from a very different bucket. Young, up and coming manager. Which is actually fine by me. Spending a fortune on an establish ego maniac hardly worked out well, did it?

As in everything else, I have zero confidence in KP choosing our next manager wisely.
Much depends on our strategy which will either be an 'all in' effort to come straight back up carrying an unaffordable squad or a rebuild focusing on young players.
On the basis of the available evidence, my expectation is that whatever strategy we choose, we'll then select an inappropriate manager for it.

No it won’t, not after the West Ham game.
We’ll stumble on with no manager, all the time being linked to numerous ****ers in the media, and then come mid-July we’ll appoint Smith. Cos’ by then we’ll be desperate for anyone and he’ll still be unemployed.
Or….
We’ll appoint a Championship-tested, bright, up-and-coming manager the day after the last game of this season.
The former seems much more likely given we’re talking about Rudkin, Whelan and Co.
