Ward's reaction speed makes me wonder how he ever made it to academy level nevermind pro. I'd expect an actual goalkeeper wearing a blindfold to have a similar success rate at saves. I'm off to find which game that real life FIFA Glitch he did was.....was a cup game or something where it didn't matter but was genuinely hilarious to witness.

I do feel a slight pang of what you’re saying. Ward is certainly a symptom rather than the disease.

That said, there is something about Wards complete inability to improve and his willingness to sit on his arse that rubs me (and obviously others) the wrong way.

He’s made 15m quid off the club and has been shit the entire time. The least he deserves is a booing.

Kinda the same.... I'd love for some toxic shite and us to come out of the other side. At the same time I'm being more realistic in my old age and fear we'll be booing our team featuring Danny Ward in the conference league in 10 years time.

I genuinely believe you could take any average lad off the street give them the resources and support Ward has had and he’d likely end up a better keeper than Ward. It’s part of what makes him so unlikeable…how is it possible to be this bad for this long?

I think he's a good example of the real world though. We've all had a colleague who hasn't even had to bluff their way to where they are. Just outright incompetent with no need or desire to change that.
