Boohoohoo no Fatawu or Ricardo boohoohoo
Boohoohoo no academy players on the bench, even though we sold KDH, Choudhury is injured, and McAteer is nowhere near good enough at this level boohoohoo
Honestly…
It was clear from the first few seconds that Buonanotte was well up for it, and what a first half performance. Ayew was terrific. The centre back pairing absolutely superb. In fact I can’t point anyone out as having a particularly poor match.
The players really seem to work hard for this manager, and they seem to enjoy it too. They’re allowed the freedom to try to dribble round an opponent or play a through ball, even though both are likely to result in losing the ball. Some what of a difference to last season, and enjoyable to watch.
Yes we were hanging on for dear life in the second half. But with one of the weakest squads in the league, grinding out wins is what we will need to do.
It’s been a steady but perfectly fine start to the season. Trust the process.
