I dunno if anyone confirmed it but in this video, it certainly looks like Sousa has a bit of a shiner.
does it? I'm not so sure...

if you look at his right eye (so on our left) , the top definitely looks a bit purple, theres almost a darkish patch
No-one thought the ref had any bearing on the game then ?
Dyer pen ?
Disallowed goal ?
Handball just after ?
Very much my opinion. Any other day we would have won 4-2, so let's not get upset by the ropey start - it's a marathon not a sprint after all.

The man's an idiot.......
Also seems to intimate King wasn't giving him 100% in training. Great.
I kind of agree with everything he says. Not necessarily that it was right to drop him but that the team didn't seem weakened by the decision. The man's an idiot.......

Up until they scored we looked far more likely to take the lead. The goal clearly had an effect on the players' mentality.Tell us something we don't know.
How anyone could think we played well in the first half is beyond me, second half we were ok. First half was as shambles at best.
When Sousa arrived I was told by someone who " knows " that he is inclined to arrogance. That article proves it. Has he not viewed recordings of our games last year? If he did he would have seen that King was ( for me, anyway ) our best player last year. Or perhaps more likely be prefers to believe what he thinks rather than what his eyes tell him.The man's an idiot.......

Agree with you about Oakley. I thought he was just about past it last season.I think the question should be why has Oakley more or less managed to hold down a guaranteed starting place? NP seemed to be willing to leave him out, reluctantly, towards the end of the season but that may have been down to fitness.
When we play 4-4-2 it is usually a choice between Wellens and King. In that scenario it depends on the opposition and PS thought Wellens was the best option against Reading.

According to Pearson Oakley was playing with an injury towards the tale end of the season
