I dunno if anyone confirmed it but in this video, it certainly looks like Sousa has a bit of a shiner.

does it? I'm not so sure...

Very much my opinion. Any other day we would have won 4-2, so let's not get upset by the ropey start - it's a marathon not a sprint after all.

Agreed, I thought we were good going forward and the ref cost us points with some terrible decisions. The problem was the defense not attack. We had plenty of chances and forced a couple of terrific saves from Federici and several goal line clearances.

If we sort ourselves out at the back we will be fine. Moreno isn't a centre half and has no business playing there and Lamey is poo.

If there is anything worse than a poor side, its an unlucky poor side.

1 point out of 12 can't be entirely put down to misfortune.

Decent sides find that the luck evens out.

I would like to see Sousa axed right now but I can see the case for thinking that this is unreasonable. So if we want to be mega fair lets wait till the Autum leaves start to fall and he's had about 10 league games. Regretably it will be very difficult by then to challenge for a play off place this season - but if this is what it needs to appear reasonable then so be it.

I kind of agree with everything he says. Not necessarily that it was right to drop him but that the team didn't seem weakened by the decision.

Tell us something we don't know.

How anyone could think we played well in the first half is beyond me, second half we were ok. First half was as shambles at best.

Up until they scored we looked far more likely to take the lead. The goal clearly had an effect on the players' mentality.

If he did he would have seen that King was ( for me, anyway ) our best player last year. Or perhaps more likely be prefers to believe what he thinks rather than what his eyes tell him.

Agree with you about Oakley. I thought he was just about past it last season.

According to Pearson Oakley was playing with an injury towards the tale end of the season- as much as I loves him, I'd like to know the excuse for how he played for the rest of the season!(Apart from being played out of position- not that I complained too much cos it meant he spent lots of time on my side of the pitch!)
