Definitely need to do something with the midfield - oakley constantly drifts inside leaving gilbert exposed, king (for a midfielder) is unwilling to put in a tackle and produces wayward pass after wayward pass, dyer is completely out of form and has been for months and I can't find words to describe berner's performance last night. Pearson sort out the midfield. Time to go back to two wingers.

The problem with two wingers is that it leaves us massively exposed in the middle. Stockport played with 5 in the middle yesterday, compared to our 3 and we struggled. If we knock that down to 2 in the middle we will find it even harder against teams like that.

But that is what Pearson is paid to do, we cannot expect teams to come and play expansive football and leave themselves wide open. We have to be able to break these teams down and our superior quality players should be able to stamp their authority on the game.

If teams come and congest the central midfield area then surely that is the opportunity to play wingers and stretch the play, use our attacking full backs and utilise the space.

these draws are frustrating to everyone..but are not the end of the world..
i doubt the management team of lcfc read these forum or the players
but if they do.
as long they stick to the task, maintain cohesion and maybe set them selves a target to win the championship rather than gain promotion
then the draws will turn to wins

this club record is not a millstone either-its something to be proud of and hang onto.. clubs who face leicester should be very afraid
not the other way around

That was feckin awful last night. Nothing suggests it will be any different on Saturday. I fear for this side next season.

Everyone has a bad run or two during the course of the season, just look at Wolves in the Championship. As it happens, if we draw every game now until the end of the season we will probably still be promoted.

I will start to be slightly concerned though if we don't win at home against Cheltenham on Saturday.

Stop worrying, how do you know who will even be here next season? The number of loanees make it impossible to judge how we could do next season.

Perhaps that is why he is worrying.Lets hope we justget to the Championship first though

It is disappointing to be drawing so many games, especially at home but we are still unbeaten over 22 games now and bearing in mind that we aren't playing particuarly well then there are still some positives. The fact that we aren't losing games, however I would like Pearson to make some changes and freshen things up as it would appear that we need some fresh impetus.

Enjoy not losing because next season will be no fun at all.

Have we really got anyone in the wings in which to make these changes ?

Personally I would rest King, bring Cleverley into the middle, drop Berner, play Oakley in the centre and play Gradel and Dyer on the wings and give them licence to attack, granted we may be a little less solid but at least we would look more potent and capable of breaking teams down. We have become predictable and players like Dyer have been nullified by own tactics.

If MK Dons win all their games in hand (not all that likely really), they'd be 4 points behind.

They have a tough schedule ... 2 games a week every week for the rest of this month plus they now have to squeeze in last night's abandoned game, this month includes games against Oldham, Huddersfield, Leeds and Millwall. This could well be the point where they start to slip off the pace, once injuries, suspensions and tiredness start to take their toll.

Very very poor indeed - horrible game

Thank feck we've got Allen's chumpies on Saturday

If we can't beat that shambolic rabble it's time to abandon ship

I think that there is a natural tendency for fans both to exaggerate the strengths of the side when we win and to get unduly pessimistic when we don't win.

It was inevitable that professional football managers would suss out our strengths over the season - and we don't have any super stars like Man U who are nearly beyond negating.

I don't see any particular problems for the moment about getting promotion - but on the otherhand, we are not over loaded with quality players and as has been said are a bit dependent on loanees. I tend to agree with the view that this set up would and will struggle in the so called Championship but hopefully Mandaric would be able to find a few quid to strengthen the squad so that we can continue to make some progress.

We're fortunate that we have the Barcalona of the Cotswolds at home on Saturday.....that should cheer up a few of the panickers.

if cheltenham come and defend i dont think it will that easy but if they come and give it a good go we should put a few past them, i think itll be either 1-0 or a 4-0 win

It's only your cheerful disposition that keeps you going isn't it? :icon_bigg

I often think about changing my ways as I know my erratic cheery attitude is often over powering and stumps the moaning creativity of other posters.

But I will carry on being possitive for the time being.
