I know it's all about getting promoted but I want to see us win this league and go up with a lift. Scrabbling enough points to get us up worrying what other teams results are, is not the best way. I don't want to go up to be battling for survival like our near neighbours, we should build on our promotion.

Well done Swindon gave us a scare but I still see this as 2 points lost.

Disappointing to go 3 home games without a win, but overall its harsh to be critical imo. Its impossible to go through a season without having a few blips, anyone thinking otherwise is in dreamland.

18 lge games unbeaten and closing in on a record.

Only two defeats from 31 lge games.

Even if games in hand are won we are still nearly 10pts better off than 3rd place.

Its only people in Leicester that have doubts, any neutral would say our promotion is 'when' not 'if'

Don't know what Morrison got booked for in the aftermath where the lino flagged for whatever he saw when we put the ball in the back of the net.

Nothing to do with the aftermath. Morrison was booked for deliberate handball. The linesman indicated it very clearly.

The fat twat sitting behind us spent most of the match slagging Mattock off.

I'm not at all surprised. And well-deserved too.

Well we couldn't see what the free kick was for, so if if he did deliberately handball it then he deserved his booking.

I wouldn't mind so much with the slating of players when they are playing shite, but not when it starts before they've even begun the game!

A good point in the end, though lloyd dyer looks so out of sorts,he could really do with a rest

He has been very poor for the last couple of months. Spoke to a mate after the game who suggested it may be that he doesn't like the cold.

His dip in form does seem to coincide with the cold weather.

Personally I think he is lacking a lot of confidence and could do with a break. Alternatively a move to the right, giving him the opportunity to cut inside may improve his game.

I thought the support for the team today was absolutely terrible.

Spot on.

Brilliant minutes ovation for Nev Hamilton and when that finished it was as if everyone had given their all for Nev and had nothing left for the team.

Just on that point, credit to the Swindon fans (apart from one or two numpties) for their part in the applause. Like some of the City fans, they would not have heard of Nev, but still joined in as if they had.

This happens. You'll note it also with Max Gradel.

Today my MOTM was Jack Hobbs, who came upfield brilliantly, was inspired, and my 2nd place goes to Matt Oakley, who appears to do a captain's job from mid-field, which is so damned hard. Even Muzzy couldn't quite get that right. It's a hard role to play.

Congratulations to the whole team, who worked wonderfully together. The Swindon goal was evidence of superb skill from Cox.

This season we will always bring out the best from teams who have something to prove. This was one of those days. We won't falter against those teams we don't discount. Being in this league is a kind of responsibility. We should never have been demoted. Proving that isn't going to be easy, and everyone sees us as target.

Bring it on!!!

Agree with that. I posted the same thing earlier in the player ratings thread. We seemed to be missing something in midfield today but Hobbs filled in on a couple occasions and showed a cool head to bring the ball away from trouble more than once.

The pleasing thing is that we still pick up points during our blips - still yet to lose in the league since October.

We're not losing - we're the target. Don't you remember when we upped our game against the good teams when we were poor? The process will always now work against us, too.

This is a good, not a bad, thing.

It's all working well. We are surviving.

Have I missed the explanation for why the scoreboard has been broken for 2 months? Too poor to fix it?

Why? - because were already promoted remember?
In my experience, the closer a team gets to promotion, the more vocal and enthusiastic the support.

I guess you have a different experience.

I thought it was a shocking game, and we were extremely poor against a very average opposition

If it wasn't for couple of decent saves from Pentney, the game would have been a gonner

Dyer, Mattock, Gilbert, Fryatt all truly shocking, and the defending for their goal was appalling

Thank feck for Oakley, who dragged the whole fecking lot of 'em along to get a very miserable point

As for atmosphere, I sat in SK1 for the very first time. Was like sitting in a feckin' morgue - but given the performance on the pitch it was hardly surprising

Too little too late from Pearson IMO too. Looks difficult justifying campbell being at Blackpool scoring goals when Fryatt is so far off the pace it's unture.

Dear Mr Pearson,
when you get 5 minutes on Monday, please can you teach someone how to take a decent corner.

Thank you
