Maybe those said that Morgan and Huth are past it can revaluate in the light of seeing what happens when we lose both of them.

Yes, they do not possess the speed to play a really high line like Barcelona, but they know positionally how to defend. They know how to and can put their bodies in the way to make blocks. They both still have at least one good season in them as Premier League defenders.

Morgan is past it, he's proven that this year. Huth saves him and benny and all the others from looking ridiculous. Huth has been our best player since he arrived. Yes he's old and a little slow but just like he covers for every other player and makes them look better, he needs a new partner who can cover for his weaknesses. That is why I said we should've got Keane at any cost last summer.

Morgan, Fuchs and Simpson need to be upgraded. Huth can play CB for another year.

lNdidi was fine.

I used the exact same term to describe Mahrez last week. You didn't know what it meant. Laughably ironic but in no way suprising.

Can't believe that you're attacking the substitutes....

And then you want a massive clearance but keep Mahrez. Not sure how your mind works.....

At least all the City have done well, we need to keep the players posters have seen the light because of one game.

We should've made top 4 this season and the players let us down.
No. 1 - I wasn't 'attacking' anyone. I don't work like you. It was evaluative and I even made a point of saying that I didn't really blame them for their performances. You obviously didn't read this properly. Again. As usual.

No. 2 - Yes, I want players who have never shown any quality and don't have any to speak of to go. I want players who have shown that they can be brilliant to stay. It's not rocket science. Even you could understand such a simple premise or am I over estimating even that?

No 3 - I don't know what the **** paragraph 3 means at all. It may as well be scrawled in shit on the wall of a madhouse.

No.4 - No we shouldn't have made the top 4 because we didn't. No team has any right to finish anywhere. Spurs supporters think they should have won the league this year and last but they didn't. A pointless, irrelevant and ridiculous statement.

Stop complaining about players who don't even get on the pitch and look at those who are on the pitch.

Mahrez and Simpson - your heroes - principally.

I was discussing players who played last night. That's logical. It's probably why you didn't grasp it.

Finally, none of my heroes are footballers. I think you're confusing admiration for heroism. Confusion, it seems, comes easy to you, perhaps because it's easier than actually thinking.

No, you said Perfectly fine.

blah blah blah

You criticised the subs and players who haven't played in a long time without even mentioning how poor Mahrez was.

I see and understand my contradictions. you are blind to yours.

The players I wrote about were all in the team or squad yesterday (barring a fleeting mention of Mendy). The thread was about the game yesterday. I made the point that the squad showed itself to be thin, yesterday. Get it yet? Let me get you a big box of wax crayons and a roll of paper and we'll see if you can work it out. I've already said how mich Mahrez has frustrated me this season in the appropriate thread, my argument is not about that. I think, contrary to the accusations you have levied at me, you're the one who is obsessed with him. How many times do you mention him in a week?

As for spotting your own contradictions, what about the contradiction between what you write day in, day out on here and writing which contains anything of any sense, intelligence or value? This is perhaps the one you need to spot the most. I can't be bothered arguing with you anymore anyway. It's like hammering nails into jelly.

Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare has held frank talks with his players after their humiliation at the hands of Tottenham.

He has vowed his players will give a response on the final day of the season.

This sort of comment always annoys me. They shouldn't need to give a response in the next game because it should never be able to happen. Give the response when we are being outplayed. Show some collective backbone.
Maybe not 6-1 but plenty of performances like that. I can't remember a season where we shipped so many big score losses.

Even the manager has forgot how shambolic we were for 2/3 of the season.

This mini revival has papered over some cracks and I can understand why people are eager to erase the main part of the season from memory, but it happened.

Correct.

The manager is perhaps pretending that he wasn't an integral part to the first 70% of the season.

The other result of this tonking is that we've dropped from 4 goals worse GD to 9 worse compared to Southampton. So even a win for us and loss for Southampton means they'll probably stay ahead of us. 8th would have looked so much better than wherever we finally end up.

As well conceding 6 at home to Spurs, we've conceded 10 in three encounters with Chelsea and 7 in two matches against Man Utd.

We also conceded 5 at Porto, 4 at Liverpool and 4 at Everton.

Our ability to capitulate against decent opposition this season has been a clear sign that all is not well.

Just watched the highlights in full.

**** me....... An absolute abomination where actually the 2 central defenders were on another planet, not helped by a clueless midfield but they simply didn't show any indication they were Premier League defenders.

That was horrible to watch, a total clusterfuck of a display.

Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Southampton, Everton, Porto....

Absolutely battered us. Because we were playing like the worst team in the premier league for most of this season.

Let's not forget that we battered Watford and ..................................................................Burnley - wow doesn't that seem a long time ago - we'd actually won more games than we'd lost when we beat Burnley and everyone still loved Claudio and Slimani scored 2 on his debut.

What could've been?
