Hoped we would give it a bit of fight and have our say in the end of season proceedings but alas, we were about as good as ever. Poor defensively and not much better offensively. Its a strange situation.

It seemed the right thing to do to part with Sven and Pearson has the reputation for a tough personality and a good organiser. But he seems to be flogging a dead horse. Usually you can see a positive way forward - on this occasion I'm struggling. Has Pearson lost it? Will a bit of tinkering over the summer do the trick or are we going down another blind alley. I genuinely don't know what to think.

Does playing alongside a poor midfielder excuse you from being able to pass to your own players? I thought he made the easy stuff look ridiculously difficult for a midfielder.
