If you really want me to go into all manner of ways a small touch, however insignificant it may seem, can effect a ball whether it is meant or not then I can but we'd both be bored out of our skull and I'm not sure you'd understand the physics. No. 2, I'm not 'clinging on' to anything, I am using facts. Simple, truthful, concrete, uncomplicated, easy to understand, quantifiable facts. Not tenuous, theoretical, opinionated nonsense based on guess work and heresay. No. 3, your opinion of Barnes is for you to construct and that's fine. I have no idea why you think I should either concur or take this as evidence that the statistics are wrong. You spent a year trying to convince me and others that your opinion about Puel being a decent manager was correct; we all know how that worked out for you. No. 4, I don't know why you're so cross! Many posters have commented that Barnes' fresh air attempt from Saturday does not warrant an assist. I was just emphasising this point, which the majority appeared to agree with.

Having a difference of opinion does not equate to someone being cross, I'm most certainly not so I'm not sure why you have to end with trying to belittle me?

You could have come back and listed which games where Barnes has played so well in and you know, actually had a debate about things but it seems 'one-upmanship' is more important to you.

Him and Perez have been our two weakest players so far this season and if we want to break into the top 4, we need to improve on our weaker areas, seems something entirely logical to discuss.

Well maybe you should as BR has come out and said he expects more from the wide players which is exactly what I am saying??

No need to come across so high and mighty and I'm not playing a victim at all but I will highlight pointless personal jibes.

I think we could see a hell of a lot more from our wide players and I think crediting Barnes with the second assist from Saturday isn't warranted.
