If the ref had done his job properly, they wouldn’t have looked so good.
Several tackles should have had a yellow card, but weren’t
They were a horrible desperate team, that I hope get relegated.
Iwobi £40m
That Icelandic bloke £50 m
Puts Slimani (almost) into perspective
The tragedy for Everton is that they would be a half decent team if they put as much energy into winning a game as they do into committing niggly fouls, shirt-pulling, blatant tripping, time wasting, feigning injury, shoving players in the back and off the ball.

As you say, a horrible desperate team. And Tom Davies is a horrible desperate player.

I mean, you can be fouled without being touched.
I agree, but your legs wouldn't go swinging from under you like Chilwell's did. He was trying to imitate being taken out, not avoiding it.

True - but I thought the trip on Vardy seconds before was a trip - but the ref didn't
Neither did VAR. It was clear that both incidents were examined.

They didn't decide Chilwell dived, he wasn't booked, which made the decision odd, if they were sure there was no contact (there wasn't) then it was blatant dive, if they weren't sure they shouldn't overturn the decision.
The offences are kicking or attempting to kick/tripping or attempting to trip. It seems to me therefore that strictly contact is unnecessary.

I accept that VAR didn't feel the non-award pen for a Vardy trip was sufficient to over turn it ref's decision - but when I saw it live before replays - I thought it was a penalty. VAR felt there was enough evidence to over turn the ref's pen award given for the 'trip' on Chilwell. In the end, I'm more than satisfied that we didn't win through a dodgy penalty decision and did so by two 'proper' goals.

Although I didn't like the way Everton played for 97 minutes - Richarlison's header was top class, Kasper had no chance
