Well at least we do not have to worry about where to play Amartey against Watford!

I hope Puel makes him sit in the corner of the dugout for the whole game writing a 1000 lines - 'I must not make a second stupid tackle when I have already have a yellow card'.

Before he went to the Afcon, Amartey played CM, and he was bloody good.
At the Afcon, he played centrehalf and was in the team of the tournament.

Since then, he's not had a sniff at either position, even though they've been problem positions for us, at times.

Very, very true.

Very entertaining match for the neutral last night. It's a game where I'm not sure how to feel, I thought we played ok, but at the same time we are still seeing us shooting ourselves in the foot with regards to giving possession away with sloppy passes and committing silly fouls outside the box. Iborra was ****ing terrible last night. Also I'm annoyed that when we went down to 10 men the whole team just seemed to suddenly 'give a shit' and started fighting for every ball... why the feck does it take going down to 10 men and the introduction of Okazaki to start doing that? A point is a point but we owe it as much to some utterly wasteful finishing from Man U as anything. Not to say they could have had 5, they really should have had 5....

On the way home in the car last night I had to listen to someone phoning in to Radio Leicester for 20 minutes who, although obviously intelligent and articulate, had decided that Amartey should not have been booked for either offence.

Thankfully, Stringer made it clear that both were bookings all day long and he quite justifiably got sent off.

I'm glad no one on here thought otherwise.

The positive thing that Puel did when he took over was release Mahrez from being stuck on the right all the time. He had licence to move around and the other two players covered him. There was a really impressive fluidity. Mahrez has really improved simply because he can influence the game more and is given the opportunity to roam and prevent opponents from marking him out of the game.

This has changed over the last few games. Now Mahrez is stuck out on the right again and when he does move about, there is nobody covering for him, which is exposing the right back position once again. Why have we done this?

Yes, I have noticed that we seem to have withdrawn from the fluidity of the games against Everton and Burnley although I don't think it is quite as dramatic as you are making out.

However our possession stats are higher now than ever, even with 10 men.

Has anyone ever seen him play central defender? He was excellent at that holding midfielder role before he went off to the ANC and we signed Ndidi. It was the total buffoon Shakespeare that decided that he was a right back and nothing else. He isn't and surely Puel can see it.

He was excellent against poor opposition. As soon as we came across anyone half decent his averageness appeared.

He's not good enough and hasn't improved.

I’m well happy with the progress made generally, particularly the youthful look we now have. Chilwell and Gray have finally made the breakthrough, Ndidi cemented his place, Maguire too.

Mahrez back to his best, Vardy adding “back to Goal” to his skill set, and generally getting the best out of individuals.

His next areas of focus will be: stop conceding soft goals, find right cover/balance at right back, clear out as much deadwood as possible, pull through more youngsters, and find a way to fit Silva in the system.

It’s been really encouraging so far. Appears I had Puel all wrong.

The man n problem to me seems to be (particularly at home) that we don’t start off well enough or with the right tempo.

We gift possession and are then left without the ball for long extended periods and then it is too late as we are immediately on the back foot.

We need to start off far better and be on the front foot from the off - we could have won yesterday but we started off so poorly that the tempo for the game was dictated by Man U - who I think are only just above an average team.

Absolutely spot on. He flatters to deceive and has done since day one.

A very impressive comeback in the end and it it just goes to show, no matter how good your team is, if you don’t finish your chances you don’t deserve to win.

The only criticism I had was Matic was running the game and it was crying out for Shinji to come on and hustle him. We did that and the game changed but it needed doing at HT. Shinji is also better back to goal on the half turn - I like the midfield rotation we try to move players out of place but Mahrez back to goal will always lose out to Matic/Pogba. That caused the first goal.

I don’t blame Kasper for the free kick. Wall lined up correctly, it was clipped perfectly by Mata. He got a hand on it but beaten by the pace. What was more annoying was we switched off to concede the free kick - they took a quick one and were weren’t switched on to the resumption in play.

I thought Morgan was immense yesterday. Time and again as we pushed on he had Lukaku one on one to handle and each time he did brilliantly. His distribution much better as well. Amartey is extremely niaive -I getting taking a yellow for the team but you never see defenders doing it, it’s normally back tracking midfielders. As a result you’re on a knife edge for another foul and so be it. Maguire is fast becoming a cult hero whilst Gray can’t play as a no.10 And is much better out wide. God love the first goal as well, the 15/16 Leicester all over again. Very, very clever by Mahrez.

The amazing pass forwards by Ndidi. The cheeky letting the ball bounce and duck back for it as the backspin kicks in. The sheer composure with red shirts stampeding towards you to just wait and deliver a perfectly weighted and positioned pass to Vardy to slot away.

Got to be up there for Goal of the Month.

T’was a thing of beauty indeed!

Morgan was very good I have to say. He seems to love playing against lukaku. Always seems to be the better of him. Very pleased with a point in that match.

Sorry to disappoint.

I thought at the time (Through benefit of slow motion replay) that there was minimal contact on the 2nd booking, and Rashford (I think it was) had made the most of it.

Doesn't seem to be contact on the ankle and only a slight barge from Amarty. Yellow card?

Admittedly looked a lot worse in real time.
