Anyway, came here to post this as I missed it after the game.

He gets a bit of stick on here at times for non footballing reasons but personally, I think he is one of the best and most interesting footballers to hear in interviews. Also comes across very level headed and just someone who absolutely loves playing football.

These really are special times for us having so many high quality players!

Yeah I thought the same too. He seems very natural in front of the camera and made a lot of sense.

He's a pundit in the making. The new Lineker.

Physically at least, no....

Went straight to the very back of the subs seating area, without any of the usual fist pumps, celebratory slaps etc and buried his head in a snood.....
Brenda said in his post match interview that BW wasn’t happy about it. He needs to grow up, he was shit.

Yep. He's so natural and honest. A decent human being too. It's a confidence; to speak his own mind and not resort to media-speak, seeing the world with a smile and not feeling a need to have a dig. The sort of person you sometimes meet and just want to keep talking with.

He wasn't shit, he was just rash and hot headed. It was almost like someone had recommended that Manchester United should go and buy him.

I’ve enjoyed Higginbotham but that was a load of shit today. “What happens if Vardy, Barnes and Maddison get injured”
...
What would happen to any club who lost players of that calibre?
Yep no way we’d be in this position if, for example, we’d have been without one of the league’s best right backs, the best defensive midfielder, a CL full back from last season, a centre back from the team of the year, and our best number 10 for most of the first three months.

thank goodness that didn’t happen.

From what I saw he was out of position quite a bit and ball watching on a few occasions. Certainly not his best game.
He's needs to be upset though. As soon as he thinks he's made it then he won't improve. And for as good as he is, there is a huge amount of improvement needed. Cags looked amazing when he came in. I forgot how good he was.

As far as Danny Higginbotham who is one of the pundits on NBCSN over here is concerned, Leicester aren't real title challengers because of the depth of the squad. He reckons that if there were a few injuries to the team that played today we'd struggle, WTF?
I'm not sure who I was listening to (dodgy stream) but they were saying exactly opposite, saying how well we'd done with all the injuries particularly in defence and now we were seemingly a club with two capable players for every position.

Bit/very harsh imo.

He was far from shit but he was on a yellow card and with Cags on the bench, it made sense given the tightness of the game.

He could have been just frustrated with himself rather than Bodgers as whilst he was far from shit, it wasn't his best game for us.

He's very young too so bound to need working on, even more so given our stature now, but overall he's been fantastic since coming in.

Was Fofana injured tonight then?
In the commentary on my stream it was said that they had got a message from 'the other side' (presumably of the pitch) and that the change was tactical.

Whoops, meant LW

That's better.

I think it's good LW wasn't happy to come off. Glad it was a Tactical switch rather than an injury, but he has had a knock in the first half and was on a yellow card.

I imagine the plan was to give Soyuncu at least 30 mins this time anyway if the game allowed, so it made sense to make that change given the position Fofana was in. I'm sure he was probably only taken off 10/15 mins earlier than planned.

We now have 3 Centre backs so good it's hard to know who to leave out when they're all fit.

Soyuncu is probably ready for 90 mins pretty soon after seeing him yesterday, but not sure he'd be ready for 90 mins with such a tight turnaround between games. I think LW keeps his place for now, then potentially both play in the cup game next weekend with a rest for Evans.
