This is the moment Vardy plays the ball. It's very close but he looks offside from this.

I can't make BBC Iplayer move one frame at a time, so I wasn't able to get the same picture as you. I have one from a split second before Vardy played it, and Iheanacho was definitely onside then. So it looks like he was centimetres offside, for a tiny fraction of a second. It would have been a brave linesman to flag for that.

Yep. For some reason it looked more obviously offside to me at full speed, but that's probably just the angle playing tricks on my eyes. From the linesman's position it would be almost impossible to be certain.

HMMM. Had it been at the other end though it might have gone the other way. Cant see the away team at old Trafford getting that one.

Sky did the freeze frame thing. It was incredibly tight but VAR would have disallowed as Iheanacho's leg was offside.

Oh, and they clearly showed that Maguire pushed the defender first before being fouled so that decision was correct.

This is the exact moment Vardy passed. Presuming the grass is perfectly straight, he was slightly ahead of the ball.

I don't think I've ever seen a fast player as slow as Iheanacho

As soon as Vardy plays the ball, the first thing he does is look across to the linesman. All OK. If the official says 'OK', its fine.
