Hang on a minute, i thought Ferguson senior would not talk to the BBC because of something they said about Ferguson Jnr!?

Nice interview though, he obviously got his brains from his mother

Think that was about something they said regarding one of his other sons

Cracking day out for us until about 3.03pm.

Filled Walkabout with Posh fans, stopped at The Victory for one on the way and were made to feel very welcome. Top stuff.

We were terrible as a team today (but couldn't single any individuals out really) - all long passes, but the performance from Leicester was simply the best that I have ever seen from any team in the lower two divisions. You mixed pace and power with no little skill - it would have been great to watch if not so painful.

Fair play to the lad. Doesn't do anything to change my opinion of the wife-beater however.

Well I think your lot did, or at least tried to keep it a passing game, getting forward and playing it to feet instead of just lumping it up in the air.
It certainly makes for a more entertaining game, though tbh I'm quite suprised at the number of teams who have tried to do that this season, when if they watched a video of the Millwall game you'd know if you stuck 11 men behind the ball you'd probably win.

I actually think you were the best side we've played this season.

I think they were the best 'footballing' side we've played, not necessarly the best side we've played. I thought Tunchev was far too good for their two centre-forwards despite looking unfit.

First half-hour we had a very lucky spell. There was a clear foul on Boyd when we scored our second.

But after that, it was really, really good. Davies MOTM - exactly what we need, get him in for the season. I was very happy for Howard and Fryatt is walking on water atm, everything he did was gold apart from his attempted square to Howard.

Well Done 'Wanny' again - his second half performance wasn't too bad.

What i liked most about today was the feeling that we were playing within ourselves and can in fact improve. We were great at times today and played some seriously good football.

I thought Davies and Howard were brilliant and numerous others supported them very well. I think we'll lose Davies as he is defo a good player and easily championship ability. I imagine Wolves will be recalling him as soon as the new year kicks in.

If we play with that sort of belief and intensity week in week out we should now steamroller this league.

On another note if Matty had an extra yard of pace he would have scored a trick today as he frequently got into good positions with his runs on goal. Still he took his goal really well and here's hoping he signs up soon.

Can not wait to come to your place. :icon_cool :icon_wink

I agree, but i must say it does feel like literally every game we improve. Now i haven't been to many aways, (though i will be going to leeds), I would assume we're playing well there too.

So much confidence in the team, and there was no doubt for a second about that Matty fryatt goal.

King's a total enigma to me. does next to nothing the whole match and then just knocks one in. Good lad, but its v. weird :icon_conf

However fantastic win chaps! Beautfiul football too :038::038:

Fantastic game, full credit to the posh for coming to play football rather than parking the team bus infront of goal.

Cant fault anyone today, Howard was superb and fully deserved his goal.

Happy days :)

I was going to comment on the game but you summed it all up for me so I won't. But I will echo that Howard was superb.

I would have been fuming for weeks if that had been the other way round and they had scored, but like my dad said, sometimes you make you own luck.

Excellent performance. Two questions
(1) Was Dickov booked for the foul or for the dissent?
(2) What was the very rhythmic chant from the Kop during the second half? I was around the halfway line and unable to make it out. It sounded like it ended with "referee".

1) Foul. Could have been red, he near enough kicked the fella in the face.
2) Do you mean ring of fire with 'L! C! F! C!' every now and again? They did 'left side-right side' for a bit too.

The left and right sides were doing the "we're the left side", "we're the right side" for quite a while.

Dickov went mental at the ref and started to prod him with his finger whilst shouting at him. It happened right in front of us and at the time I thought Dickov had kicked the defender as they both went down. Dickov was fustrated at being shielded off the ball and not getting a corner

Didn't you used to be up the other end? I'm sure Newts pointed you out over there earlier in the season.

That was the one. What I could not make out was the ending that sounded like it ended with "referee". Anyway it added to a great atmosphere and a great afternoon.
