Probably on my own here but does anyone else find it difficult to get excited about this season.Its great we are top etc but its Div One and its all rather embarrassing getting ott about topping the third tier.More a case of 'we should be' rather than anything else.

I think they were the best 'footballing' side we've played, not necessarly the best side we've played. I thought Tunchev was far too good for their two centre-forwards despite looking unfit.

First half-hour we had a very lucky spell. There was a clear foul on Boyd when we scored our second.

But after that, it was really, really good. Davies MOTM - exactly what we need, get him in for the season. I was very happy for Howard and Fryatt is walking on water atm, everything he did was gold apart from his attempted square to Howard.

Well Done 'Wanny' again - his second half performance wasn't too bad.

Well that's what I meant.:icon_razz I disagree about Davies though, I mean, he was solid and did well linking things up but my MOTM was Oakley, he was involved in almost everything.

We could hear the posh fans no problem, but couldn't hear a thing from L1 except the odd bang from a drum

(1) Was Dickov booked for the foul or for the dissent?

He was booked for the foul. He could easily have been sent off for it. It was violent and completely unnecessary.

He should have immediately received another yellow card for the dissent. I don't think anybody present would have argued with it. A referee should not allow a player to wag a finger in his face and get away with such obvious and long-lasting dissent.

(2) What was the very rhythmic chant from the Kop during the second half? I was around the halfway line and unable to make it out. It sounded like it ended with "referee".
