It's a load of shite anyway. I thought it was embrassing.

As a chant/song that shows utter contempt for the opposition and their fans, I would have thought that it is an essential part of any crowd's repertoire and anything but shite and embarrassing.

My only doubt about it is that it is stolen and not at all new. I would prefer that it had by now been replaced by something equally as good and of our own making.

Nothing miserable. It's feck all to do with the club - it's a silly chant with no merit to it. It's cringe-worthy. I'd rather we sing songs about the actual club and it's players. Anyone who was singing right-side/left-side probably wasn't watching the game and that's the original reason I go to the football. :icon_roll

It's not compulsory to watch the match, is it? I've never seen anything about it in the ground regulations. As long as the rights and comforts of others are not affected, I can't see any problem with people doing whatever they can to 'up the atmosphere' at the ground - and this chant certainly does that; you can see it on the faces of people who are not even involved in it.

If you want to hear songs about the club and its players, please feel free to start them off. If they're good enough, I am sure that others will quickly join in. Until then, spion and I reserve the right to call you a miserable bastard.

Right side, Left side, might be stolen from elsewhere, but it's the first time I've heard it. It made me smile.

Coming away from the game it felt like the good times are coming back, and a few ghosts have been put to rest.

Possibly that

Or possibly that this season most of the opposition teams are complete and utter shite

Obviously this is the major factor. I just thought it was necessary to point out that comparisons to last seasons team is irrelevant becausethis season we have almost a completely different team.

You can only beat whats in front of you. Performance wise best Ive seen at that stadium.

And so it should. That's what it is designed to do. It's a bit of fun. It's a lot of fun. The age and 'ownership' of it is a minor irritation and it's good to hear that people are hearing it for the first time and enjoying it.

It was a good atmoshere too. The left side/right side was midly amusing "4-0 in your cup final" was also quite good. The most poignant however was "One Stevie Howard"

I cant believe they sang that!

I think I rediscovered the buzz for city on Saturday... Brilliant performance, convincing win, decent atmosphere. Made even sweeter as it was a game I was worried about!!!

I think the Walkers rediscovered the buzz which the travelling fans have experienced for much of this season.

Long may it continue.

It was beautiful. Super Steve...I knew he'd come good. :icon_lol:

Better that the usual "we hate Nottignham" shite that seems to droned out at every opportunity

But it's being used now with the same frequency.

At Cheltenham, I found it amusing and probably Orient but now it's boring. Even more when the now expected 'Who are ya!' starts.

I love the "We hate Nottingham" chant. I sing it to him every time we go Travelodging.

You appear to know little about the anatomy of the 'soccer tribe'.

Just watching the highlights, I don't feel so bad about their second coming after a foul now, in their post/bar/over situation the guy who hit the bar was about a yard offside when the player shot to hit the post.
