Hamza clear man of the match for me. He deserves a massive amount of credit.

Senior players led wonderfully and plenty to feel encouraged by in the youngsters. Alves and Brunt particularly look good players.

Outstanding performance from Choudhury. Other than Perez who was garbage and Daley-Campbell who really struggled, the rest were all solid or very good indeed. Barnes had a much, much better second half so he gets his pass for today.

Can't really give them much credit for Brunt, he was only signed in the summer.

Let's not ignore the quite exceptionally shite approach to the game from Watford. Ranieri had some clear opportunities to exploit our obvious weaknesses and failed to do so. He's either completely incompetent or actively wanted out of the cup ASAP.

However, fair play to our lot. We did everything that could be hoped for. Control from the senior players, and a lack of fear from the kids. Several players asked to do things well out of their comfort zones and they just got on with it.

Excellent from BR. Hoping he's developing a seige mentality with the group given our situation. Following up the Liverpool result with that today is superb.
