I was at the match. Hamza was an absolute bombscare I'm afraid and I really wanted him to be a revelation. He stepped up to the plate to fill a position but this was no ndidi style performance. A decent side would have driven a bus through him
At least two or three times he seemed to actively stand back and let forwards run clean through. He gave the ball away on countless occasions and some of his last ditch tackles were necessary because of being way out of position.
The only saving grace was that £15m vestegaard was truly and breathtakingly awful. The slowest thing I've seen since schindler's list and much less capable of moving.
The younger guys Brunt, Madivadua, Alves etc really showed them both up - all showing great touch real positional sense and great competitiveness. Albrighton, Tielemans, Barnes, Maddison, Lookman were sensational in delivering attack is the best form of defence. Each could have been motm.
Perez was awful
Daley Campbell rightly hooked at half time. Only the Watford guys histrionics stopped him getting sent off first half.

Opinions are like arseholes. Everyone's got one.
A mate of mine at the game, not a leicester fan, turned to me on at least 4 occasions (particularly from 45 - 65mins) laughing at hamzas positioning or attempts at passing and I could see exactly what he meant. Twice in the second half he simply stopped moving and let Watford players go clean through (won't be in the highlights) and several times he just got the ball stuck in his feet and played us into trouble.
I don't imagine anyone else available would have done any better,
But I won't have that he played well, just because our defence wasn't as shit as it could have been if wed have been playing anyone with good attackers.
