I was pulling Boc’s leg because he wanted to know why Birch’s speech had been described as interesting.

The Birch made a comment about them being young lads and how it was important to get behind the team (etc). I suspect with a couple of poorer results more recently, along with the Chilwell & Choudhury "misdemeanour", they were conscious of people getting on their backs. I just thought it was interesting in that it was strange to front it up.

one thing I noticed last night is how many pundits haven't got a clue about the offside law, all of them talking about how Creswell's outstretched leg played Barnes onside when that was completely irrelevant as Barnes was behind the ball so always onside no matter where the defenders were
