Goal difference of +21
Best in the league. Cardiff are +19, next is Palace on +16.

Here's one for the anoraks, when was the last time City scored six goals twice in a season ? I can't remember one and my bus pass is well worn.

Leicester 6-1 Huddersfield: The Foxes score 6 for the second time in a league game this season. They haven't done that since 1957/58. #lcfc

Great result, well done chaps.

Just 3pts though and much sterner games just around the corner....bah humbug

What a great result and perfect start for chris wood.
Good squad management from Pearson. Marshall, Waghorn, Gallagher, Moore and James all starting to make quality contributions despite not being regular starters. Having six of a good enough quality to make a difference is really important.
Sell Danns, Beckford and Wellens if there's any possibility of making the Baptiste and Nick Powell rumours true....

Some idiot just came on the radio and was moaning that we should have scored more! Unbelievable.

Incredible possesion against Huddersfield.
If it was down to me I would give an extra point for 6 goals-but alas.
5 point gap.
Next 3 games should be interesting.

Apparently under Pearson we are boring and defensive. Before his arrival I'd never seen us hit five let alone six. It's happened numerous times now that we've hit four or more but the manager is 'boring'.

Ruthless today, really ruthless albeit against a Huddersfield side whose tactics were very wrong from the off.

What an absolutely glorious game of football.

Wood, Nugent, James and especially Knockaert were all sublime. The finish for Knockaert's second was one of the best I've ever seen live, looked like it was going about 5 yards wide but curled back in round the keeper Roberto Carlos-esque. Wood's second was also brilliant, the link up play between him and Nugent for it was fantastic, one touch counter attacking football at its best.

Nugent and Wood just seemed to click perfectly, they seemed to suit each other's game perfectly. I know it's only one game, but this has the potential to be one hell of a strike force for us.
