Couldn't tear themselves away from the FanZone?

Haha well it was £20 for this ticket of £10 for the stand. Here I get a choice of drinks and some posh pies. Worth it, my back is bloody kiillling me.
Definitely worthwhile then. It was ****ing freezing in the stands and ice was melting off the stadium structure so chinese water torture FOC

Game of two bizarre halves. We were absolute dogfilth in the first - lazy, sloppy, arrogant horseshit and multiple issue of pissing about with it at the back.

Second half was completely different. We moved ten yards up the pitch, we chased and hassled and moved about with intent and purpose. 6-2 flattered them in the end.

Winks and Soumare were rubbish. Kristiansen even worse. Mavididi frustrating excellent and shit in equal measure

El Khannous is just the ****ing business, though, isn’t he. His link up play with Buonanotte and Mavididi is excellent and he just has that touch of magic about him. Justin was great coming forward, and both Ayew and Daka also had a big impact when they came on - Skipp not too bad either.

Bobby Shitpants, however - well he’s just wank.

Bizarrely, my man of the match was Faes. Not for the goal (even though it was amazing), but for the work he did at the back. In the first half he did the work of two players, as Kristiansen spent the whole 45 minutes being out of position. Second half he was very cool and collected. An outstanding performance all round

Ten quid to watch that was an absolute bargain despite the fact that it was ****ing freezing and the fact that the roof dripped all over for us for about an hour. My legs got ****ng soaked FFS. And I could hardly see **** all at the other end, but who cares when you score six goals

And, deary me, the e-ticket shenanigans was an absolute ****ing disaster outside the ground. It’s a ****ing shambles

Oh - and just to note - this is two minutes before KO

I was about to comment on the horror of trying to get into the ground. Turnstile where I was broke down so a steward was letting people in through the side gate. Queues absolutely mental everywhere.

When I did get in, I went to my seat (West Stand) to be immediately handed some hand towels from the guy next to me to dry my seat. The roof was leaking and everyone was getting soaked so had to dry their seat. As hailstones rained down on me I looked to the pitch as the game had begun and couldn't see feck all.

Apparently, we won. Stuffed if I knew much about it. The QPR fans sounded loud but I never saw them because the fog made it impossible to see across the pitch.

I can confidently comment on the warm up routines of the two sets of substitutes. I also saw the new Assistant Manager being very vocal from the bench, in sharp contrast to Ruud.

By the start of the second half, my toes had gone numb and I was contemplating how early I could leave.

The magic of the Cup.

does anyone here ever do meet-ups at the footy?

Political nonsense aside, we’ve all got one common love.

If anyone’s ever about let’s make it happen. This forum is not too shabby. Despite all the lefties 😜

Jokes aside. Happy to say hello. Most football fans are brain-dead. I’d love a moan about Rudkin or Top. How football is ruined. Vardy is old. Whatever.
