Didn’t enjoy that, as much as last Sunday.
We were Jekyll & Hyde in 2 halves of the season last time. This time it may well be match to match. Especially as despite signings we're still lacking depth to the squad. A few winter injuries & we'll be ****ed.

There was a lot wrong about today's performance.

Several players just looked completely off their game. Usually in these tight matches where the opposition are behind the ball, you need your technical players to be accurate with their passing. Today our best technical players - people like Tielemans and Perez - were awful with their passing.

Perez had no preseason. He has had very little football and it has showed. He has started three matches this season and stank the place out each time. How does he get into some sort of form?

Evans had no preseason. He has had very little football and it has showed. He was not tested against Man City very often but today he was woeful. When we first signed Evans he had a run of matches early in the season just like this. It is as if he has to play himself into form. If so, he needs to get a move on.

Five penalties in our first three games has made things look a lot more positive that the performances themselves. We were great at Man City but I saw plenty wrong in the first two matches. Today we were badly exposed by a well organised opponent.

I'm not really that fussed whether we play a back three or a back four. What matters is how we move the ball and make runs/space for team mates. Whenever you watch us and we lack movement and don't move the ball quickly, we're in trouble.

Today we gave our opponents the perfect blueprint for beating us. Villa will no doubt do the same in a couple of weeks. When we will learn how to play against an opponent that is prepared for us?

How come we played so badly as a team at the end of last season, start this season brilliantly - every player playing properly - and then very suddenly go back to how we were?

Fully agree - no sense of urgency and we're back to repeatedly passing sideways at a pedestrian pace.

Villa beating liverpool 2-0 at the minute

Thankfully we won't be the most talked about result this weekend now!

It's not been a good day to be the favourite has it?

Looking forward to the punditry on MOTD 2. Should be a laugh.

Shame they changed the handball guidance this week. Could have had some record scores.

BR has stated
"We knew we had a chance to win the game and we did'nt, so they'll split up, go away, hopefully come back safe and healthyan we'll look forward to an exciting run of games "

What game was he watching???? at no stage did I think we would win that game, why can he not just come out and say we were pathetic and the players are going to get a rocket up their arse as that type of performance and standard is unnaceptable?
